A fun and quite short quiz (I have a score of 16) ;).

The layout is done very nice, but the "endless handbag loop" is very annoying. It would be nice if you had added a button to turn off the music.

Also, a replay button would be nice, too.

OK, next time around then.

Didn't make that much sense, but at least I found no bugs clickin through the various objects. ^^

Well, maybe I couldn't figure out the sense of most of the objects, but some of the texts are very funny.

The music is indeed quite enjoyable, but still a button to turn it off would have been very nice.

Meh, this is highly disappointing. The animations are kinda rough, the graphics aren't that good either. The lack of sound is pretty annoying.

All in all, the flash looks very rushed (and it was indeed). I would suggest that you put more time and more effort into this project before submitting it.

I'm not too fond of dress-up games, as they don't offer that much depth. All I can do is drag and drop various items on random characters.

Your dress-up game is surprisingly well drawn and I liked that the various items fitted perfectly on SBC. Most dress-up games I played so far had the hughe downside of clothes/items not fitting properly on the image of the character. So much the better that all items in your game did fit.

I also liked the wide range of background music you put in the game. This keeps the music from getting boring. If I am annoyed of one track I can easily swith to another track.

You also had a wide range of backgrounds in your game, but I'd prefer more background images, rather than just a unicolored background.

A very helpful flash. I hope that many users that are new to the site will watch it, as it explains everything very well. From posts, to reviews, to some clubs. It just contains everything.

Too bad some of the images have such a low quality, which makes it a bit hard to read some of the text displayed on the images.
I also noticed that the music will start playing multiple times if I press the "play music" button more than once. Maybe you can fix that by makeing the button unclickable after the first click (and of course make it clickable again, after I press the "stop music" button).

The choice of colours is done very well (newgroundish gray background and white text. Can't go wrong with that. ^^). But the text could have been a tad bit bigger. There's a lot to read in this flash, so starting at small letters is very exhausting for the eyes.

What I liked most about this flash... well, of course you put my name in the "Great Reviews" section. ;)

RohantheBarbarian responds:

The image quality was a pity, something got screwed up on export. And the play button is a known bug. However, overall I'm glad you liked it and thank you for the review.

The style of you flash is very nice. I like how you put in the typical styles of the different operating systems in there.

Most of the error messages where quite funny to read and some of the things you said are just true (like the "This software is not supported!" error for Mac OS X).

Overall, it's a nice basic flash. Nothing more, but nothing less!
You've shown with that flash that you know how to handle most of the basic things in flash (and also some of the more advanced things), which is a good thing. Now you can aim for bigger goals! ;)

Thanks for the review. I do know a lot of the more advanced parts of flash, this is just a side project, which I make every year ;)

The quiz itself is done quite good, even though some "checkpoints" would be very nice (ie if I answer 5 questions right, I'll start at question #5 if I answer a higher question wrong, etc.).

But the look and feel of the quiz needs some polish. A white background always looks kind of sloppy. It would be better if you would add some Halo screenshots.
You could then put the text in boxes, so that the readability isn't harmed by different shadings of the background.
You also should use a standard font, as they are always easier to read (use Arial or Times New Roman).

Also, sometimes the text was a tad bit too small, so that it was quite hard to read the answers.

Overall, it's a nice quiz that needs some work on the graphics.

Thanks! I never thought of 'Checkpoints' But its a VERY good idea...
I might add Some screenshots later.
Thanks, xIDoL :P

It's a pretty simple, yet highly addictive game. The game mechanics work pretty well (even though I had some trouble with those "wall jumps").

Also it reminds me a lot of "Loco Roco" for the PSP, which I enjoyed a lot.

The graphics of your game are very decent and the backgrounds look good, too.
The music and special effects are nice, too.

You managed to make this game different from Loco Roco with special moves like the Splash Jump.

Overall, it's a nice addictive game. Good job! :)

Well, it's a pretty basic flash in every aspect. It deals with the most basic things of NG (nothing wrong with that) and it looks pretty basic (nothing wrong with that eiter ;) ).

It's annoying that the music starts from the beginning every time I click the "next" or "previous" button, but I appreciate that you put in some different tracks.

You should use a spellchecker if you submit a flash with lots of text in it and you also should use proper punctuation. Some of your sentences are pretty hard to understand because you never make use of the comma.

Here's a part from your text: "now there are levels on newgrounds like in a RPG game but unlike rpg games levels do not power up speed and stuff they power up B/P points"
Not only is that really hard to understand because of the lack of commas, but it also seems that this info is wrong. The levels don't power up your B/P, the levels only change your picture on the forums (voting power is affected by Experience and B/P, not levels).

The last page (where you explain what BBS stands for) is very hard to read because of the dark background. Either use a brighter font there or a brighter background.

It's as nice as the first one. Everything is pretty well explained and again your style of writing is very pleasing (ie. no typos, no harsh language where it isn't necessary, etc.).

The quiz at the end was a nice addition, but I think it would have been better if it calculated the points itself instead of letting me chose how many points I made.

I found a bug while clicking through the pages. If the music is turned off and I go back to the very first page, the music starts to play again, even though the button doesn't have a red line through it.

My flash skills are still a work in progress, so I will endeavor to ensure that none of the flaws you pointed out repeat themselves.
