Improved quite a lot

You improved quite a lot from the first version of this game. It seems that the speed is lower in the first few levels now, but it still gets insanely fast later on. The mouse just moves to slow to keep up with the pumpkins.

The graphics are decent, nothing too great here, but not bad either.
I liked the music you chose for the levels. It kept me entertained and fitted the theme quite well.

The voice acting is funny and pretty good, even though the voices get overpowered by the music a bit.

Overall, you have improved a lot from the previous version, but there's still room for even more improvements. ;)

Yeah it could use more improvements, but I'm taking it one step at a time. I doubt I will make another, not entirely sure. Thanks for the review.

Nice background information

This flash offers some nice background information about the "ghost world". I like the idea of the thoughtforms very much.

However, I had the same sound problems as Corky. Sometimes the dialogues where played before they actually should take place. This leaves a very bad impression on this otherwise very good flash.

Yep this flash had some issues, I hope we did better on the next one.

Nice amount of interactivity

A good episode. I noticed that the sound quality of the voices has improved a bit. I didn't notice any static sounds this time. Too bad that the music was again so loud that it overpowered the dialogues sometimes.

However, I liked the amount of interactivity here. It was enough to keep me interested but not so much that I got bored of clicking around. The riddle was also nice and forced me to explore the various places.

I've won agaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaain!

Nice line there. Also, the panting after the "agaaaaaain"-part was also quite funny.

The only thing that you now need to work on (well, apart from the graphics of course :P ) is the lip syncing. Because, you know, it was nonpresent in this flash. ;)

haha! I love your summary. I'm so glad you liked it! Actually come to think of it If I made a T-shirt out of this It would be that line. But I don't plan to become a sellout.
Oh and btw in case you didn't know I actually made a promo in January you should check it out when you get the time.

Good idea

I like the idea of a Ghost Motel very much and I'm looking forward to watch the next episodes. The introduction in this part was very promising!

The graphics aren't that good for todays standarts, but considering that this movie was submitted in 2002 I guess the graphics are pretty good for their time.

The animations could have been a bit more fluent, but they are ok as they are now. The only real downside of this flash is the rather low sound quality. There where static noises all over the place, especially when the characters where speaking (the voice acting, however, was done great!).

I liked the interactive parts of the movie, it's nice to try out the various options.

thank you, this was just a test at first but turned out to something more.

Not my favorite

"Button games" aren't exactly my favorite type of games. You really have to come up with something original to impress me with one of those.

I liked that you hid the button on a few frames, this WAS original (even though I chose to cheat and just pressed the TAB-button to find it :P).

The text however isn't that funny. Most of the time it's just "Dammit!" when I clicked it. Not too exciting.

The worst thing about this game is it's big filesize. I guess it's because of the song you put in the flash. While listening to some good music is nice you should try to lower the quality (and thus the filesize) of the song. 2.4 MB are way too much for such a short game, which also just requires a few KB of action script and some minor graphics.

The idea of the game is pretty good. The introductions are simple and very helpful. They tell me everything I need to know about the game.

Well, the gameplay... the mouse moves a bit too slow and the pumpkins are way too fast. First time I played it I didn't hit a single pumpkin (well, except for the cats ^^). After playing some rounds I was able to hit more pumpkins, but I still think it's too fast.

The graphics are decent. Nothing too amazing, but not bad either.
You should have added some Halloween type of background music, though.

Lord-Of-Lazyness responds:

Yeah I have to get used to that, couple of years ago I played a great deal of computer shooters, thus my mouse was adjusted to move quickly across the screen, so naturally it was adjusted for me to have a challenge(leaving a good deal of people to not like it for this reason) something I won't overlook again.

I will have to find some Halloween music for the background, as well as a few tutorials to improve what I know. If I can ever get hold of a tablet my graphics will improve, till then I'm practicing with the mouse. Thanks for the review

"Chose the death" flashes/games are quite old, but I guess they are good for practicing ones flash skills.

The deaths where quite varied, which is always a good thing in those kind of games. ^^
Only the first "magic death" was a bit disappointing, because I couldn't tell at first what was goind on.

Also I hoped there would be more deaths to choose from than just 4. I think you should try and add a few more.

The musical choice was excellent. The song fits the flash very well.

Thanks! I'll be sure to add some more deaths, yeah it was good practice too. Thanks again!

The voice was the best part. The "You win a prize!" was just awesome.

Sadly, the rest of the flash didn't live up to those expectations, as it was a bit too slow overall. Also the voice wasn't that good to understand (but better than speakonia ;) ).

The drawings and animations are lame, so you should work on that.
