It takes some time before the song really takes off. At first it's a nice drum track, but it's not that special. At 2:00 into the track it really starts for me. Now a nice melody starts and we have something else to listen to.

Too bad the nice melody stops so soon. Because even though the song is over 5 minutes long there isn't that much happening here.

Whoa, so many emotions packed into 2 minutes. It's almost frightening.

Yes, this song is indeed VERY sad and one can feel that you put a lot of effort and heartblood into this.

Well, I found nothing to complain about, so... 5/5 and 10/10. :D

Nothing to complain about? What kind of review is that?!...Nah, I'm just kidding. :P

I honestly didn't have to put much effort into this at all. It was one of the easiest songs I have ever written. I say this because it flowed so naturally from my heart; I had been feeling this remorse for some time, and to let it out...helped take a burden of my shoulders. For 45 minutes it simply flowed out effortlessly.

Thank you for the review sir!

It's a great song and I like the story of it. Now I want to know: How ends the battle???

I can imagine this being part of a series of songs all based around the same theme. This song is the prelude to war, the next song would have the war itself as a theme, then maybe the next after that would deal with the family at home, etc. .

However, I missed a rise in "dramaticness" when the two armies where approaching each other. I think the background melody should have changed to something more dramatic towards the end.

I love the idea of making this into a series! I've never written much war themed music, which would make it would be fun and challenging. I already have a few ideas running through my head. Perhaps Tamadrum and I could work something out. Thanks for the suggestion/idea.

I've never been good with climaxes. I am still trying to figure out how I can build to a satisfying climax and end on a bang! You'll probably notice that all of my songs lack a true high point.

Thank you for the review. It was very helpful! :D

It's a funny song. It can be clearly heard that this is improvised, but it's not a bad thing. Most of the time, improvised songs are funnier than planned songs, and this is also the case with this song.

The beginning is pretty funny with that slightly out of tune guitar and the repeated "We love you".

The "metal part" is quite good, too. But the guitar is a bit too quiet there.

Thanks dude.

And yeah..I tuned up the acoustic guitar a half a step.It only had five strings..And it hurt like a mother fucker to press on them.

I like the theme of this track a lot. It starts off very quiet and nice, when suddendly those high pitched notes come in at around 0:12.

The mean laughter also adds to the creepy atmosphere that you build up with the high pitched notes.

Some of the notes seem to be a bit dissonant, but then, we are about to become insane, right? So, those dissonant notes fit in perfectly here and add even more to the creepy atmosphere.

But, as Bezman already mentioned, the song is a bit too short. Right before the tension reaches it's climax, the song is already over.

The melody of the piano could be quite nice, if only it wouldn't sound so shrill. It's almost a bit overamplified.

Also, the drum beat and the melody don't seem to play the same timing or tempo, which sounds a bit odd in the beginning. But towards the end it does sound all right.

You should try and take away some effects from the piano to give it a better sound.

A very nice and quiet piece. Maybe a bit too quiet. I had to turn the volume of my speakers up a bit to be able to hear the music, so maybe you can increase the volume of the track a little bit.

Apart from that, I liked it. It creates a very thoughtful atmosphere. Also, the melodies are very warm.

BlazingDragon responds:

I'll see what I can do about the volume. I hadn't realized how quiet it was until recently!

The mixing is done perfectly again in this track. Also, the main melody is somewhat catchy and overall it's a very good track.

Only thing is that it is a bit repititve, even though you had serveral parts and breaks from the main theme in here.

I'm planning on working variations throughout the song - when I find the time!

Sound really nice. The melody is very good and the drum beat is nice, too.

I like how the drums and bass tracks go along together so well.
Also, the mixing is done very good here. There's no overpowering even when all instruments are playing at the same time. Good job!

A nice skit, but it wents on for too long. Also, the voices are sometimes too quiet, so it's a bit hard to make them out.

But, it's funny nontheless.
