Ha! I just love that scene (and the whole film). The song is great too. Your interpretation of the song is very nice, and I have to say: THE PHASERS HAVE TO STAY IN THERE! It just wouldn't be same without them! :P

Only thing that bothers me is that it seems a tad bit too slow... speed that thing up a bit and it will sound even better!

Someone who likes the phasers! ^^
Could be cool with a little more speed, i hear ya. Thanks for the review!

Wow, great song! The sound quality is very amazing. Everything is mixed perfectly, so that everything goes along well together. No outpowering of other instruments here. Great!

The vocals sound pretty much like SOAD to me, but that's not a bad thing ;) . The lyrics are pretty strange, but that's not a bad thing either. ^^

Great song!

Great compliments thank you so much ;_;

Reminds me a lot of Depeche Mode and New Model Army (and similar 80s "gothic" bands). It has a very dense atmosphere and really grew onto me while it was playing.

The vocals are pretty nice and even the lyrics are quite easy to understand.

Only downside here is the bad sound quality during the chorus. Maybe if you turn down the distortion of the guitar a little bit it would sound better overall.

BreakingFaces responds:

Yeah this was recorded in Garageband, lol.
But now I have logic pro so everything should be a bit smoother now :)

Thanks!

Whoa, you REALLY need to do something about the bad sound quality! It ruins the whole song!

With a better sound quality you would have a very kick ass song with nice and heavy riffs and some great vocals. But right now it's just a big sound porridge.

You also have to work a bit on the drums, they don't really fit into the song. Oh, and the ending is a bit too abrupt as well.

Thank you for the review. I am currently writing some new drums and a extra riff or too. This was another one I recorded off of the tiny BC Rich I was using, but I think now I could get some kick ass quality.

Haha, the intro with the cymbal is so great! I think it has been used in bilions of metal songs but it never gets old! :D

The riffs are very nice and they fit together well with the drums. The change in speed sound a bit weird at first, as if you aren't right with your timing anymore, but in reality you just speed up a bit.

The outro is done very nice, too. Great song! It just needs some vocals, though...

:D your wrong about the intro thing though... its a billion and one lol. thanks for the review bro.

Sounds quite nice, but the drums are too prominent here. If I turn the speakers up to also hear the background melodies the drums are blasting my speakers, if I turn it down I can't hear the melodies playing in the background anymore. So you need to mix the song a bit better.

That really is a kickass song! The intro is a bit too slow for me, but the riff that comes right after the intro nearly blew me away! It just contains everything I want to hear in a riff.

The vocals of B-M-I are pretty awesome, too and they sure fit to the amazing riff and lead guitar.

Only the drums sound a bit too weak compared to the vocals and the heavy guitars, but you get 10 stars from me, anyway!

This is definatly better than the sample version of this song. The vocals fit in very good together with the piano and the drums.

The parts between the "vocal parts" could be a bit more interesting, because there's not that much happening. Just the (undoubtedly doog) main beat keeps playing. Those interludes could use a few variations from the main theme, I think.

Other than that the song is really good!

Great song! Reminds me a bit of "White Town" (you probably don't know it, it was a so called "one hit wonder" ^^), because of the effects on the voice.

The beat of the song is very cool and fits perfectly together with the vocals.

Well, not much else I could write here, except for: Great song! Keep it up! ;)

The intro is very nice, but the change over from the intro to the "real" song isn't really fitting there. A smoother change over would be better here, I think.

The main part of the song sounds very nice. You had a lot of changes from the beat, which is a good thing. That way you keep the listener interested and the song doesn't get repititive too fast.
But the same problem I had with the intro applies here as well. The change overs from the "soft" parts to the "hard" parts doesn't really fit. You should try to work on a smoother change over and you have a great song here!

Thank you, i was thinking when making it if I should just take out that intro and start off the song after it and leave the intro part towards the end.
