Two different tracks, two different tacts

This sounds as if you first had the background beat and then clicked randomly around to create some sort of melody. But you didn't care that much about paces or tacts here... it sounds as if the keyboard and the drums don't belong together, but if I was listening to two different songs at the same time.

Also, the cymbal is very annoying and shouldn't be used on every 4th beat.

First of all, I did not really entirely make this. Mikkim, my friend, told me what I should do, so I made something and he liked it. I have almost no idea how to make songs

Nice melody

The background beat is a little bit too generic, but you make up for this with the amazing melody you created. It is very catchy and also some of the effects you put in there sound pretty funny.

Too bad the song is so short, though.

Aye, well, I wanted a simple kick to keep a steady flow. It's the most generic percussion you can think of, but it gets the job done. ;p

Amazing melody, eh? :D Haha, thanks!

Aye, it's short. But a V2 is in the making, so I'm happy with all the advice I get from reviews. Next version WILL be longer and WILL be less repetitive.

Thanks for the review!

Catchy

Very catchy song, but it has to be used very carefully or else it would get annoying pretty fast.
If I hear this in a flash submission once in a short level, or after I beat a level it would be ok. But it I would hear this in a puzzle game for example, it would drive me nuts. ^^

Anyway, I like the cheerful atmosphere this song creates.

Absolutely right. Someone else told me to take out the count-in so it can loop better and I was all "whaaa-??"

Anyway, I'm glad you liked it, thanks for the review!

Cheerful

A very cheerful song in my opinion. With a very catchy main beat.

Only thing is that there isn't too much happening during the song. Some various parts or some breaks from the main melody here and there would be very nice and it would make the song more varied.

Yeah I know what you mean. I wanted it to be a nice gentle introduction to the album I'm working on. I can't seem to get the balance right. There's either too much going on or not enough. Thanks for the review.

Interesting

The into sounds a bit dissonant sometimes. Both the vocals and the instruments. It still sounded nice, maybe a little bit too repititve, though.

The part after the intro reminds me A LOT of Radiohead's "Morning Bell/Amnesiac". Too bad the vocals are so low here.

The third part is my favorite part. It creates a very good atmosphere with the fast paced main beat and the long hold notes.

The last part seems a bit strange to me. It's too quiet overall and I just don't know what to think about it.

Overall, the song is very interesting and the various parts keep the listener interested, even though the song is over 7 minutes long.

Thanks for the review, the RRC seems to have some really good reviewers. still no one's really discussed the lyrics or subject matter but im glad you find it interesting. i love radiohead so i wouldnt be surprised to see some influences in there, sigur ros as well probably.

Heavy beat

Wow, a very heavy beat. I like that. I also like the deep voice that says "Darkside". It fits very well into the song.

I think the progression of the song is done great. The intro sounds very light and almost cheerful, then suddendly you change the whole thing to a very hard and bassy track.

However, I think the ending could use some more work. It ends too abruptly in my opinion. Maybe you should let the last note last a bit longer.

Thanks alot for another review :) Glad you liked it ^^ Hmm, yeah, you got a great idea there. I geuss I'll play around with it some more :P I usually don't make this kind of music, but I believe it turned out rather good too :P Thanks alot for the review, the idea, your time.

And thanks "Review request club" :)

Cheers

Good track

I like the beat here a lot. It sounds very good and creates a happy feeling. And I guess "happy feelings" is what Trance music is about. ^^

I also like the various sound effects you put in here. It's easy to overuse sound effects and annoy listeners with them. But you did make good use of them.

Good work!

Ooh, another review from the "Review Request Club" :D I thought I only were getting 1 review from you guys. I probably will upload a version without the FX's since some said that they liked it but didn't like the FX's :P

Well, thanks alot for your time, the review and the "10" :D

Cheers

Good ambient track

Wow, this track creates a very great atmosphere. I also like your choice of instruments, it's quite original and definatly your everyday mixture of instruments.

I like how well everything works together here. The guitar, the percussions, the sound effects in the background.

Nice job!

It's definately a different blend of instruments, which is what I aimed for - Simple differences like having two-bass guitars have more focus over the electricguitar (Usually the other way around).

Thank you, really appreciate the review and glad you enjoyed the tune ^^

Even better than the "original"

I just reviewed 'RD Dusted' and I liked it very much. But I felt that something was missing. I figured it would be lyrics, and I was right.

I like this even better with the added lyrics. Even though your voice is nearly overpowered by the music sometimes you did a damn good job of rapping to the beat. Your words and rhythm fit very good (nearly perfect) to the background beat.
Great job!

Thanks bro. I hardly get reviews, and I look forward for them, because I always want to improve. This means alot.

Good track

It's a good track. The atmosphere it creates is great.
I like the sound samples you used throughout the track. At first we can hear some birds chirping, it seems as if it is a nice and warm day. But the music already foreshadows that there's a storm coming.

Later we can hear the rain falling, the music now creates an almost sad atmosphere. As if the rain doesn't bring relief and doesn't wash away all the sorrow... but it carries sorrow with it.
This impression is strengthened by the fact that we still can hear the rain fall even though the music already faded away.

The ending may be a bit too long though. Or the sound of the falling rain is too low. Maybe it would work better if you not only fade out the music, but also fade in the rain sounds at the same time, so that it seems as if the rain outpowers the music in the end.
