[Rubiks Cube]

Nice

The graphics are simple but very effective. I like that style. It doesn't always have to be to graphics to create a good looking movie.

I'm not sure if I got the story completly, but in a way it represents the crypticness of a cube, heh.

However, I think he should have messed around with the cube a bit before the message appeared.
Other than that, it's a great movie!

The flash is pretty random, but that's what makes it so funny.

The graphics are decent. They could have been a bit cleaner, but everything goes so fast that it doesn't really matter.

The backgrounds are a bit disappointing, though. I think Barry Scott should be standing in front of a hughe shelf filled with Cilit Bang! :D

[Ghost Motel 4 Outtakes]

Nice idea

Very nice idea to make this "Outtakes" episode. There are some funny scenes in here, for example when the 4 read the reviews.

Also the "Cast & Crew" section is quite funny. I liked your description of the "Hired Extras".

Well, overall the whole flash is nice and funny. A very nice extra to have in the collection. :)

Sad

The graphics aren't that good to be honest. The guy seems to be a "Cynaide & Happiness" styled character like one can see just everywhere around the internet nowadays. Ok, it's better than just stickmen, but I think it would be better if you'd try to create your own style.

I also would like to see some more story in the flash itself, but in your author comments you said you where just looking for something to animate to, so I guess you didn't have a real story in mind but did it just for the sake of animating.
Well, if that's the case then it turned out pretty well.

I like the background you used. It works much better than a simple white background. It also separates the character from the other stuff in the background a bit, creating the impression that he feels (and propably is?) left alone and, well, broken.

The animations could use some work, though. It looked quite strange when the guy walked and also the raindrops looked a bit strange. It's very noticeable when the "rain loop" starts over again.

Overall, it's a very sad flash that could use some more work.

[Cows Pooping]

Title says it all

Well, the title says it all. One minor error here, though: There's only ONE cow pooping, the title suggests that there are at least two. I was very disappointed... :P

Well, the grapics are pretty nice, even though there's not that much to see here.
The song fits quite good to the flash. And I also liked the "pooping sound" you added.

Overall it's a very short movie, but it is quite funny. :)

Well...

if this was "meant for the musi" as one reviewer suggested, then you should do the music some justice. Or even better, you should use different methods to advertise your audio.

First of all, don't add songs that aren't even heard in this submission. You only used one song and that's your own.
While there's nothing wrong with using you own songs in your own flashes it's kind of odd to put so many songs in the list when they aren't even used in the flash.

The animations and graphics are pretty sloppy. It's just like two seconds of random animation that loops over and over again.
This is really really bad.

Nice

This is quite a nice flash. The graphics are very "comical" (as in, as if I was reading some online comic strip), but that's ok. The graphics of the backgrounds however are a bit sloppy. You should try to improve them a bit.

The animations where mostly tweens, which doesn't look that great, especially when the guy "walks", he's just floating. It's pretty hard to animate walking people, but you should try to do so nevertheless. It would greatly improve the quality of the flash.

Too bad that this episode is so short, but I'm looking forward to watch and review the other episode(s), too. :)

[Halloween night intro.]

Good intro

This is a great intro. The graphical style is pretty amazing and I like the overall atmosphere of this.
The music fits perfectly and the Halloween theme from the mnovies at the end of the intro was a nice bonus.

The only problem here is that this flash is 7 MB big and it's just the intro! There isn't that much space left for the actual game if the intro alone takes up 7 MB. And I really don't know where all those MB may come from, the flash wasn't that long and it wasn't that graphic intense either...

[Ghost Motel 3]

Music is too loud

The different voice actors do a pretty good job here. Also most of the static noises are gone now. But the music is a tad bit too loud. It's also a bit annoying that it plays the whole time through. Music should only be played on special occasions, to place emphasis on a situation (ie play sad music when something sad happens, dramatic music to build up the tension, etc.).

I already noticed this in Part 2: You have some very nice references in your flashes. In part two it was the demon eating the corpse, which reminds me of that famous scene from Resident Evil 1. Here a little girl got possesed, which reminds me of the movie "The Exorcist". Hopefully I will notice some more references in the later episodes! :)

How to kill a ghost

Heh, I never knew you could choke a ghost to death. ^^ But on the other hand, it was a demon choking, so maybe demons actually can do things like that.

The graphics haven't improved since the last episode, but this isn't necesserily a bad thing. Seeing how this flashes were submitted 5 years ago there most likely wasn't that much to improve graphics wise.

The voice acting is again great, but the low sound quality is a real let down. Hopefully the quality improves in the later episode.

Overall it's a very good flash!
