Good, but not too good.
I like the style. Eveything is held in red and black but you made good use of the colours here. So while in reality all characters are only black shades they look pretty detailed and the different enemies are all very easily to distinguish.
The voice acting was ok. Could have been a bit better, but on the other had the voice actors are not "professional" voice actors. So it should be obvious that their work can't be compared to the work of professionals who do voice acting for a living.
The actual gameplay was pretty simple. But that doesn't mean that it was bad. ;)
Controls are good and I appreciate that you put "jump" on two different buttons. I have a "qwertz"-keyboard so jumping on "x" and attacking on "z" is pretty annoying. With your "second" layout I could just use the "up" button to jump.
I think the game needs a few more attacks and/or combos. It was also a bit annoying that the character moved forward while doing a regular attack. This resulted in me just attacking past the enemies, because they also moved forward when attacking. Also I found that the character sometimes wouldn't turn around, even though I pressed "right" when she was going left while attacking. But maybe this is no flaw in the game at all and just my inability to control the character the right way. ;)
Definatly a game flaw is the fact that the character sometimes falls just through a plattform, even though I landed on the edge.
The ending was also a bit dissapointing. I won the battle against the king, but yet the cutscene hints that the king won against me?
