Cute, but needs more work

This is really cute, the cat interacts to my mouse movements and it looks adorable when it does that. :)

But this needs a lot more interactivity, right now all I can do is making the cat move when I move my mouse to certain spots. It would be nice if I could give the cat something to play with (a ball of wool for example :D )

Also, some sounds from the cat would be nice to have. It could purr if I stroke it and hiss, if I do something the cat doesn't like.

The music was well chosen, it fits the theme. The background where nice too, my most favorite one was the sofa.

Not good

Wow, this was pretty bad. Graphics aren't a major concern in tutorials, but a bit more eye candy doesn't hurt as well. Here we just have black rectangles with red texts as buttons, a white background and some strange looking circle with arms that mubmles constantly.

A tutorial should explain how to do something and it should explain why this line of code is necessary and why that line should be there and not here, etc. .

Just giving people the code and saying "copy this" doesn't help them at all.

It was also pretty annoying that I had to click "play" constantly after hitting the "end" button. Just take the viewer back to the main menu.

there was a real tutorial but it got messed when i added the preloader!

Not too detailed

I didn't really understand what exactly you did when you drew the body. More explanations would be nice here. Also, a short clip of a body being drawn could help as well.

The steps for the body parts where more detailed, but still short clips would help more than just the drawing steps.

Also, the navigation only has the most basic part, a forward button. I cannot go back; if I want to see a previous step again I have to start over the whole flash.
A little menue where I can jump to certain steps would also be a good idea.

Soundboards...

I'm not that much into soundboards, as I never know what to do with them. Sure, clicking buttons and hearing quotes, but that can be achieved more easily by just watching the film.
Speaking of "watching the film": I've never seen the movie in question. I don't think that it was even aired in my country so there's even less joy for me in this soundboard.

Anyway, the sound quality is pretty good, so the large file size actually is justified. It would be nice if the picture changed with the quotes, displaying the actual scenes from the movie. This would give the user something more to look at.

Good

There's a good amount of questions all ranging from very easy to very hard. Sometimes a little variation in the questions would've been nice. Too many maths related questions for my taste. But I liked the idea of displaying for example level icons and then let the user calculate the result.

You also offer a nice amount of music plus the option to turn it off. So I guess everyone who plays this game should be able find something he/she likes.

The problem is that there are already so many quizes out there that this isn't very original anymore. It's good, and it stands out from the sheer mass of quizes, but it's not original. ;)

It's hard to come up with anything new

Button-flashes are pretty old so it's really hard to come up with something new. I liked those "we are experiencing technical difficulties" bit, those where funny. But I felt you used it once too often. First time it was funny, second time it was still funny, third time it was pretty mediocre.

I also didn't like how many times you made use of the "empty frames" where there was no text beneath the button.

The last thing I didn't like was how long it was. But on the other hand, those button games HAVE to be that long, I guess.
Anyway, it was a good attempt, but I don't think I will ever like those kind of games.

Average effort

I like that the story is put together by so many different artists. This is a pretty interesting concept.

The art itself is aveage and very rough around the edges, so a little more effort and time spent on the drawings would be good here.

What bothers me the most with this submission is that so much space is wasted with unnecessary things. It's a nice idea that you tried to imitate the NG flash pop ups, but it isn't really necessary as the pop up windows always look that way on their own. As a result we now have a double frame and the text is sometimes so small that it's very hard to read.

No mute button?

Ok, the game itself is pretty funny. The character is very detailed and it looks funny when he jumps (his facial expression is awesome). Telling the story with the different signs is a good idea, too and the controls are simple and VERY easy to understand.

However, some of the jumps are a bit... bad. Not difficult but just bad. Missing one plattform results in running ALL the way back and try again, which gets very annoying after a short while.

Speaking of annoying, that background music is really annyoing. Why is there no mute button? I had to turn the speakers off now, or else I would've gone crazy.

Good, but...

It's a pretty good game, the graphics are fine and the animations are good, too.

I like the idea of a boss that gets stronger with the character. The more I level up the harder the boss becomes, nice idea.

However, there are some downsides on this game. First of all the hit range of the saw seems to be a bit off. I stay way "above" the saw (as in I stand farther behind than the saw actually is sawing) and I still get hit by it.
Then the controls are a bit off, too. Often the pink knight hits in the wrong direction. Mostly this happens when I got hit and spin around on the ground. I then press left for example (if spinning to the right) and attack and the knight attacks to the right instead of to the left.

Anyway, those are only minor flaws and don't take too much from the fun away. :)
