[Bully]

A flash about two monkeys teasing each other. Doesn't sound too interesting at first, but I think this turned out pretty well. I especially liked the sound effects. The "mario jumping sound" was a nice touch and the voices of the monkeys are pretty cool.

I also liked the background sound effects. Even though this is just a minor detaiI, I think details like this seperate "poorly made" flashes from "well done" flashes.

However, the pacing of the flash isn't that good. I felt that the teasing was going on for too long. Also, the animations need some work as well. As far as I can tell, most of it was done with simple tweens, which doesn't look too good.

Overall: The flash is enjoyable to watch, but it needs some more work for the animations and on the pacing of the story. I think, if you can spend more than 5 days on a flash, you can come up with some pretty cool stuff: Flashes, that aren't just "enjoyable" but "awesome". :)

I don't know what to make of this. I watched three shorts and while I found all of them entertaining in one way or another, I'm highly confused, haha.

Also, I think the shorts are too depressing. While the bunny short shows some kind of morbid "Happy Tree Friends" humour, I found the third short with the plant was very depressing. A plant struggling to live, but getting a hit on the "head" every time... wow, not something I could watch every day.

Anyway, the presentation is very well done. And I also like some more serious flashes on Newgrounds.

Again, it looks like I was a little too vague with the meaning here (although it may help to "reposition" your "view" once you've figured out the mechanism). I'm glad you found enjoyment from it, despite how depressing it was.

[Playback - Part 1]

Oh yes, the old theme of "becoming young again" (and of course the theme "skipping your childhood to become old"). It's not a very original theme, but it still is an interesting idea for a movie.

I like that your take on the whole situation is a bit more on the serious side. It's like the old saying goes: "Be careful what you wish, you just might get it". Joe wanted to become young again, because he thought he would be happier. But it turns out that he is even more depressed with his "new life" than he was with his old. Should be interesting to watch how this will turn out once you finished the second part.

Another thing I liked was, that you did put in some jokes here and there. It's a good relief from the serious undertone of this submission.

Overall: A good movie and I recommend everyone to watch it.

Again, the animations are pretty rough and the graphics aren't that good. But again this flash convinces because of it's content and not because of "eye candy".

I like the story here. It's pretty funny and I had to smile at the end. So I guess your mission is accomplished. :)

The musical choice is again pretty good. The music fits to the flash, so you've done a good job here.

Overall: The second movie from you that I review and I could just copy paste my other reivew here, because I think it holds true fro both flashes: The story is nice, the music is good, but there are some things missing (like, a more fluent animation, additional sound effects, etc.).
I surely hope that you will continue to upload flashes, because I think you have a talent for short stories.

Very rough animation and not too pretty graphics here, but this doesn't mean that this flash is bad. Oh no, it's the "inner values" that count, right? I think the story is pretty nice here. Makes you think about all the little "miracles" that happen every day and that no one really notices.

Also, the musical choice is pretty good. I think the song fits very well to the movie. Some additional sound effects would've been nice, though.

The only thing that's really missing is a replay button. I just don't like it when a flash loops endlessly.

Overall, a good submission, with some minor flaws here and there. But still an enjoyable flash.

This is one of the most disturbing flashes I have seen in a while. All the warped graphics create a very eerie atmosphere. Also, the close up of that guys face, while he is running around that camp is distrurbing. I like how you put in some images of what he sees there. Body parts, some things that can't be really identified, the scene where he finds the scalp...

The sudden cut to a normal "breakfast scene" was done very well. The graphical change and the chang in colours is very good here. I like how the guy just says that he was thinking about something unimportant.

The cut back to the unsettling environment with the black colours was a good twist. Now there's some room for interpretation. What scene here was real? What was just imagination? Did that guy really sit at the breakfast table? Or was it just some hallucination to try and cope with the reality of a labour camp?

The static noise at the beginning was a tad bit too loud, since the rest of the flash was so quiet. I know where you are trying to get with the static noise. And it really does create an unsettling atmosphere. But I think it would work just as well if it wasn't as loud.

Another thing are the voices. The program you used doesn't creat good voices. It sounds just too unnatural and too emotionless. It would be great if you could find some voice actors.

Also, if you need help with the german texts/spoken parts, shoot me a message (german is my native language, so I guess I should be able to help you out ;) ). The thing is, that some of the texts don't make too much sense. Some things the woman said I couldn't figure out at all, if it hadn't been for the subtitles.

Overall, this is a well done flash. It needs some improvement with the voices, though.

[Madness Cancelled]

Very good voice acting! I really like the voice of the Madness character. That alone is worth watching the flash.

But not only the voice acting is good, I also like the script here a lot. Who would've thought that a Madness character was so polite and so good with words? And who would've thought he doesn't have a gun lincence? That was very surprising. ;)

Overall, a very nice take on the Madness flashes. A highly enjoyable flash!

[World According to NINJA]

Pretty cool submission. I really liked the voice acting here, it was top notch.
I also liked the "over the top anime style", with the characters striking weird poses, or their facial expressions being so ridiculous, that you just have to laugh.

Another good thing about this flash are the nicely drawn backgrounds. They kind of buil a contrast to the almost sloppily drawn characters, and this contrast looks very interesting to me.

The musical choice was pretty good as well. It fitted well to the scenes and added a lot more quality to the already nice flash.

Overall, I can find nothing to complain about. :)

A very nice trailer. It got me interested in your upcoming project, so I guess the trailer has done it's job. ;)

I really liked the music here, it fits very well to the world you created and it also fits to the drawing style of the scenes. Since the style is very dark (mostly black and white) the industrial like music was a pretty good fit.

What I didn't like was, that I had to press play again every time I went back to the main menue.

"Wow!" Pretty much all I can say. This is one of the most amazing works I have seen on Newgrounds, and I'm a member of this fine community for over 10 years now.

I really like what you have put together here. There are some very amazing effects; when Jack and The Girlfriend reach through the mirror, for example or the transitions between "real movie scenes" and "animated scenes".

The story can be a bit confusing. Did Jack really kill his girlfriend because she cheated on him, or is this just part of his imagination? Does he really jump off the cliff or is that just another dream sequence? But I like that we can interpret so much into this movie.

In my opinion, this movie should be the #1 movie of all time. I feel that a score of 4.00 is way too low. This should be rated AT LEAST 4.5 or even higher!
