Good

I think this is a very underrated song by the Beatles and I'm glad you chose this song to do a little animation to it.

I think you covered the "dream sequence" very well with random things happening, like the rainbow river and the giant earthworm popping up.

Too bad the animation is so short, I think you could've done some great things with the dream sequence, maybe even introducing the other Beatles in it as well.

But I liked how you ended on the line "I'm only sleeping" showing John (I guess it was John, as he is singing this song, right?) sleeping in his bed.

Happy belated clock day

Well, for clock day it's good enough to pass (hell, almost anything passes on clock day :P ) but on any other day this would've been blammed with the first 50 votes.

Anyway, I have seen much worse "first flash movies" so you at least did put some sort of effort into this flash. The very basics of animation is there, now you have to work on getting better.
Try adjusting the frame rate if you think your movie runs too fast (because this movie... well, it's way too fast) or include more pictures to your movie to let it run more smoothly.
For example, if you have done 3 or 4 pictures to create this movie, try doubling the amount and see how the movie runs then. It should be a lot slower and smoother.

You might also want to change the background colour, because this deep blue color doesn't look very good. You should chose a more transparent and brighter colour, so that the characters can be seen better (I hardly noticed the stick man at first).

Also, some sound effects would be a nice thing as well. A simple punch sound and a scream from StrawberryClock would be a good addition for example.

Long

This is quite a random movie with some good plot twists. It starts off with a fighting and you think: "Okay, that was a short flash, but funny."
Then Megatron appears and finishes off the remains of Sub Zero. You think: "Okay, that was nice, but now it's over, right?"

But the flash contiues for quite some time from there on, which sure is nice. The length of this flash is really a good thing, because in my opinion it makes up for some of the flaws this submission has.

First of all, the graphics look very sloppy and the whole drawing style seems to be somewhat "dirty". However, some scenes do look quite good (usually when only one character is on the screen) while others look much more sloppy (like the scene where Scorpion and Megatron drive to that fast food restaurant).

The subtitles where a good idea because they help to understand the voices better. But the text was really hard to read. It's always better to include an extra box just for the subtitles that has a solid background colour. This way you won't have the problems you have here: Sometimes the text is hard to read because the colour of the background is too dark (or too bright) to clearly see the text.

Thanks for taking the time to fully watch and review my video, I really appreciate it.

Happy Clock Day!

Too bad I can't understand what BahamutClock is screaming there (too much static sounds), but the flash looks funny nevertheless.

I like how StrawberryClock just stands there, doing nothing while BahamutClock almost explodes with rage and anger.

Oh, and the background graphics are nice as well.

Happy Clock Day!

I'm glad I could save this movie. Next summer, the pink fluffy bunny rabbits will rock the metal scene, and we are both part of it.

Pretty good presentation as well. I like the camera movements around the letter B. Looks much better than anything I was ever able to create with flash, heh.

Fuck yeah we're gonna rock their socks off!

The camera movement was pretty simple actually, it's just a silly motion tween :p

Thanks for voting 5! ^^

Nice

I'm not really interested in american football (or handegg ^^) but I still know who John Madden is (propably only becauses of the Madden NFL-video games).
Anyway, never heard or saw him on TV, so I don't know how good your parody of him is.

But I liked this flash anyway. It's very funny to see John Madden on the bottom of the screen fidgeting around like he drank a few too many coffees.
Together with the overexcited and very fast voice it works really well and made me laugh quite a bit.

I also liked how the screen filled up with lines, circles and crosses and how Madden just doesn't stop talking about this and that, without coming to the point (if he has a point that is).

Very nice flash

A pretty good flash and it's lon running time mades up for the long wait while loading it.

However, the compression of the video ruined the quality of the images. I really would like to see a high resolution version of this.

I really like that the whole cartoon was handdrawn before it was digitalized. Reminds me of some of the old cartoons I used to watch as a kid. Because hand drawn cartoons have a very distinctive style that you just cannot reproduce on the computer and which makes hand drawn cartoons look so much better than all those "fancy" 3D cartoon movies Disney produces nowadays.

Anyway, the flash was indeed wonderful, but the very low quality of the images prevent me to give a higher score here.

Yeah hand drawn all the way man!

Not so good

Well, the music is chosen very well. Reminds me of some old TV series like CHiPs.
However, the grainy effect on the screen was really annyoing and should've been left out.

Also, on the top of the screen there was a thin white stripe visible, as if you didn't center the movie correctly.

The voices where quite bad here. Most of the time they where too muffled, and there where also some static noises as if the mic of the voice actor was too bad or the mouth was too close to it.

The adding of subtitles was nice, but they where hard to read. You should have put some white background behind the text to make it more visible. Also the subtitles for SarezJay where constantly wider than the screen, so it wasn't even everything visible.

All those things mentioned overshadow the fact that the flash was decent and the story pretty nice. Even the (lame) punchline at the end made me laugh. But all those flaws I mentioned before weigh more in my opinion. So that's why I can't give you a higher score.

Nice

A nice little joke that is delivered quite well. However, the animations are again lacking here. It looked a bit weird when MarlinClock was moving across the screen from left to right when there was a sidewalk visible that began in the upper left corner and ended on the bottom near the middle of the screen. Makes me wonder where MarlinClock walks if not on the sidewalk?

The voices where again a bit hard to understand. Maybe you can add subtitles to make it easier to follow the conversation.

Great flash!

I never had an XBox so I don't know about Voodoo Vince. But now that I've seen this flash movie I really wish I had played this game.

I really like how you synced up your animations with the music. Especially in the intro, where the buildings pop up in tact and also the lights are syncronized with the melodies. It shows that you put a lot of effort into this flash movie and it also is a very nice experience to watch a flash where animations and music are synced in such a nice way.

The graphics are a bit comic like, but I think that's how the graphics in the game looked like as well.

I thought long and hard if I can find something to nitpick on in this fflash movie, but luckily (or sadly? lol) I didn't find anything. ^^

Great work man, keep it up!
