Nice little clock day flash.

Sadly you didn't take your time to get some special effects in there. The "B"-attack is nice, but Bahamut just fading out after this is a bit lame. I expected something more than that :P .

This was part of my planned little spam series that went down the drain, so I deliberately put little effort into the "Kill Bahamut!" flashes.

It's a good tutorial, I think. You explained everything very well and even managed to get some humor in there. That makes it less boring to read ;) .

I liked how you provided some examples on how to use some of the blood effects on different sprites. The "play"-buttons for the examples was a good idea as well.

However, on one screen the text was overlapping with the picture, thus makeing the text quite hard to read. You should try to avoid that in your next tutorial(s).

I didn't like the music, but you provided us with a nice "mute"-button, so that was no problem at all ;) .

A very nice flash. I really like the graphics! It's amazing how many detailes you put in there. Even the backgrounds were very detailed. It's always nice to see that at least some flash artists care about their backgrounds ;) .

Also, the many wordplays and funny dialogues in this flash were very good and kept me interested while I was watching it.

Only drawback is the quite low sound quality of the voices. Sometimes sounds like 'p' or 's' are a bit too hard, so that one can hear your breath blowing into the microphone. Also I think that the sound was a bit too quiet.

I think subtitles would have been nice, that way it would have been a bit easier for me to follow the conversations (I am not a native speaker, so sometimes I takes me a bit longer to get some words/jokes ;) ).

Pigmash responds:

Yeah, I should have re-recorded some of the voices, I think I was just frustrated with how some lines were coming out with punchy P sounds everytime so I just tried to make them less noticable instead. Thanks for the review.

I liked this one. It's a very nice and short Christmas flash. The drawings are good and if Coop hadn't mentioned the overlines in his review, I wouldn't have noticed them ^^. I think it's okay if those lines stay there.

Sadly the sound quality of that last piece was quite low, too bad you couldn't get rid of those cracking noises there, as it hurts the movie a bit.

In my opinion the length of this movie is okay, as it is just a funny little movie for christmas and I think it is very entertaining :)

I might try to get rid of that static again.

Ok, so the images and the cutting out of those was quite bad, but at least you made up a good and funny plot. I liked the conversations the guys had. "You're not Zidane!" - "Of course I am!" - "No, you're not!" and so on.

But here's another example why one should be very careful when using Speakonia. The pronounciation of the name "Zinedine Zidane" is ridiculous ^^.

kinggila responds:

I agree. Speakonia really sucks at pronouncing things. Type in content and it will say cuntent. :S

Heh, nice Futurama parody. And I know it's hard waking up and then realizing that it's suddendly 2007...

The backgrounds were quite nice and I liked that "Get the motherfucking snakes out of that motherfucking plane!"-thing.

Hope to see a 2008-flash from you, too ;) .

I'll try and make a new year 2008 flash. :)

Well, part II has some new characters in it, quite nice (well, not exactly "new" characters, but they didn't appear in any of your flashes before ;) ).

Graphics are fine here, too (same as in part I :P ), but it looks as weird as always when the character are walking. Give them some knees! ;)

Oh, and I always wondered if it is pronounced "Co-op" or similar to "Moo".
Thanks to your flash I now know the answer ^^.

Merry Christmas!

I'm getting a huge demand on knees for character models. XD Yes, I'll think about adding knees to them sometime. Thanks for the reviews Haggard. :)

Great movie! The voice acting is again very good, even though the sound quality is lacking sometimes (Satan sounds too dull, and BlueHippo is quite hard to understand).

The story is very interesting and I'm glad that I watched last year's Christmas flash or I wouldn't get half of the jokes and references here ;) .

I really think that you greatly improved your drawings. Everything looks much cleaner now and you also added more details, so that I now can actually imagine living in your house ;) .

However, even more details would be great, but first of all you should try to create some "3D"-effects, as the heater for example looks quite "flat", and not as if it would actually take away some space of the room... (meh, I don't know how to express this... :/ ).

Anyways, on to the second part!

kinggila responds:

Andersson had problems with his mic, so he was forced to record them in low quality. :( And BlueHippo's, perhaps the volume of his clips should have been increased.

Yep, if people don't watch the original flash, then they won't get much of the jokes, but at least I mentioned that on the credits.

I do think my drawing has improved on this flash, but I'm still pretty far from having great graphics. :P

And I'll see your next review soon.

It's not as great as the prequel in my opinion, but it's still awesome.

You again made good use of different styles and animations. You also managed to cover the humor of the different flashes Hank traveled through. You also added your own humor into this (the "What is love"-skit was great!), I really liked that.

But I didn't like the ending, as it seems unfinished to me... guess I'll have to wait for the next part to come out...

swiftstylerX responds:

Yes, the next two parts will have a much greater climax than this. I'll admit the ending to this just seems rushed and extremely dull, compared to what it should have been.

Thanks for the review!

That was a briliant flash! I liked how Pico changed his looks every time he went into a new "world" and looked exactly like the other characters there.

I think your idea is very unique and you did a very good job on animating and drawing all those different styles and flashes. The story is very interesting, too and I like how Pico has to pass different "Adventures" to finally complete his task.

The ending however seems a bit rushed. I think StrawberryClock should have been a harder fight for Pico. After all Strawberry is the "King of the Portal" and 'B' is the "Mothership of spam flashes".
