Good

I don't like it as much as the original, but this remix sure is pretty nice. It is in fact a very chilly remix. Quite relaxing and nice to listen to.

However, I just think that it is a bit too slow from time to time. Especially in the intro it takes a while to pick up.

So in conclusion, it's a nice remix, but the original version is still better. :)

Good song, but...

I like this song, it offers some very nice melodies. But somehow it sounds as if the song never really starts. Maybe that is because it stays so quiet the whole time.

Even after the pretty long intro the song never really picks up, which is a real pitty, because as I've already written, the melodies in this song are very nice.

Yes, I'm speechless. This song really let my with my mouth open. Good thing that I can still type. :D

This song is just awesome. It starts right from the first second. The strings offer a very nice sound. The melody that follows after that is very uplifting and just the right thing to listen to to start into the day.

I also like that the song never gets boring. Right when I get the feeling that a certain melody has been played long enough you change it. Very nice. :D

Repititive and too lound at times

The melodies in this song are very nice and also the beats are quite good. The problem here is that the song is over 6 minutes long, but there isn't too much that happens during those 6 minutes, so it gets repititve very fast.

Also, sometimes all instruments seem to play at full volume which doesn't sound exactly good. It stresses the ears because there's so much happening at once.

If you mix those "louder parts" a bit better and try to break up the song structure here and there you'd get a very good song.

Very nice

This is a very good song. Too bad I never played Carmen Sandiego, so I don't know how good your interpretation is, but it sure sounds nice.

The song doesn't stand out too much, but I guess this is because it was meant for a game. Game music shouldn't distract the player but give him something nice to listen to while he is playing.
The song achieves this goal. You can let this play in the background for quite some time without getting too distracted by it and you will have something nice to listen to, which doesn't get boring for a very long time.

Sounds good

Even though the song is so short it sounds really good. Other songs have an intro that is 40 seconds long, your song is already finished by that time.

The intro with the vocals is very nice and sets the right mood for the song that follows.

Too bad you had that time limit, I really would like to hear a longer version.

Great

This is a really great song. It got me caught from the very first second on until the end. And this happens rarely when I listen to trance songs.

You have some very great melodies in this song and it also is quite varied, which is always a big plus.

The only thing I didn't like that much was the outro. The fading is very nice, but it suddendly ends in the middle of a tune. I think it would sound better if the last note would ring for a tact or two and the song then ended.

Good

When I read "trip-hop" I think of Portishead and Massive Attack. But of course it would be unfair to compare your song to those bands, as this is your first try in this genre.

The song is pretty nice and offers a good atmosphere that lies somewhere in between relaxed, mysterious and creepy.

The song also has a good length, just right for the "trippy" part in trip-hop. ;)

But I think there isn't enough happening here. The build up of the parts sure is nice, but some more melodies that stand out more would be a nice thing.

That was one thing I was trying to experiment with. Most of the trip-hop I listened to before was just more atmospheric, the melodies didn't really stand out and sometimes there weren't melodies. But I see what you're saying. Guess I'll just have to keep working on it. :)

Woha

This song doesn't take any prisoners, it straight away shoots them on sight.

What I mean by this is that the song is very hard and intense and we can hear this for the very first second on. I really like that intro. Weird noises, screams and *boom*, the song starts.

The melodies are very good and they get stuck in the head.
Even though I have to agree with ChairYeoman to an extend that the song is a little bit out of tune sometimes, I really like this "out of tuneness". It gives the song that little extra that makes it different from the other songs in the audio portal.

The outro is good as well. We can hear a gun being loaded, a shot and a grunt. End.

Nothing too special

This sounds nice. Nothing more, but nothing less. The beginning is a bit slow, but luckily it picks up after that.
The melody is a bit strange, but fits very well together with the strange computer voices.

A very experimental song, but a clear structure is missing here in my opinion.
