Very good

It's really hard to review this song. Not because it's bad (that would be easy to review ^^) but because it's so complex.

It took me quite a while to get into the song, as if found this song very unusual, especially the main beat.
But also the melodies do a lot of almost crazy stuff in this song.

But it is also great that I have to spent time to get into this song. I had fun experiencing new things every time when I listened to this again.

Too bad there's some buzz on the piano, it prevents me from giving you the 10 points this song deserves. But the buzzing is too annoying at times. :(

Good song

The tempo of the song is very nice, I like the upbeat drums in the background. The melodies are good as well, they create a great clublike atmosphere.

I also like the diversity of the melodies. There's always something new that's happening which makes the song really interesting. Too bad the background beat seems to stay more or less the same all the time. You should try to change that around a bit as well.

Good song

A very good song. I really like the rhythm here. Especially in the first part of the song. It reminds me of "Übers Jahr" by Wolfsheim (I doubt you ever heard it, but the way the piano plays sounds similar).

Anyway, the melodies that set in later also sound very good. They fit nicely to the rhythm, even though both elements create different atmospheres. The rhythm sounds "heavy" and creates a quite darkish atmosphere. The melody on the other hand sounds very "light" and creates a brighter atmosphere.

The second part of the song reminds me of France, heh. The accordion reminds me of some french street cafés for some reason. ^^

So about your review here.

I dont know ubers jahr to be honest no, ill look it up sometime.
hmm, i like folk-instruments wich is why i picked the accordion.. i also like the characteristics of the instrument, ill be making music with it more often i think.. its very similar to certain synths i used to frequent back on the console.

I never really listened to the rythm myself to be honest.. funnily.. i just liked the drag and the melody kind of made itself as i was in 'the zone' of making it. :)

Strange

A very strange song. The vocals in the beginning sound very funny, but I couldn't make out what they where saying (or if they are supposed to say anything meaningful at all).

The song doesn't seem to go anywhere, though. I think a few more instruments would sound good here, as they would give us something more to listen to.

Also the outro doesn't really fit to the song, in my opinion you should change it.

Great song

This song reminds me of some of the music that is played in some documentaries, heh. It just has the same "mystical yet relaxing" atmosphere to it.

I like the drums here a lot. They are very set back and yet they are audible enough to give this song a nice structure.
I really like how you made the pipe the main instrument in this song, you don't hear songs like this very often in the audio portal.

Good song

This is a very nice song. The melodies and the beat sound pretty good and I love the deep bass you used.

The vocals are a very nice addition, they fit good into the song, even though they are a bit too quiet when they first set in. They are nearly drowned out by the other instruments, so you may want to have a look at that again.

Nice song but still room for improvement

The voices are really cool and they fit pretty good to the song. However, I think you also should add some voices during the middle parts of the song, this would make it even better.

The melodies are pretty loud, they nearly drown out the background beat from time to time, so I think you should turn down the volume on the melodies a tad bit.

Also the song gets a bit repetitive towards the end and a bit overloaded. I'm not too happy with that instrument that sets in at 2:29. It sounds good at first because it adds something new to the song and breaks up the repetitiveness a bit, but it plays for too long in my opinion. Especially when the melodies play at full power again it all becomes a bit too much.

Overall the song is nice, but it needs a bit more work here and there.

Good mix of genres

The mixing of genres is pretty nice in this song. It's a bit weird at first how fast it changes sometimes, but it really grew on me while I listened to this song.

The clapping sound is a bit annoying, though. It doesn't really fit in the song (maybe you should try and use a snare drum) and it's overused anyway.

My favorite part is when we can hear that piano playing a melody and then the awesome deep bass sets in right after that (at around 0:50 for example).

yeah i wasnt feelin the clapping during the harpsichord sections and i wasnt sure what sound id use to replace it with, though perhaps eliminating the clap for the whole song might work out? ill try it. and as for changing pretty often, each section was cut down pretty short for the purposes of making teh song short, so that probably contributed to the hectic feel of the song. regardless, im glad you liked it and ill probably be expanding this into a full length track to pitch out to the records ;) thanks for enjoyin the song!

Nice

A very calm song, I can imagine hearing this in an RPG and there in various scenes. Could be town music, or the background music for a story sequence where something sad is happening (like a character leaving the party or something).

I really like about this song that it creates so much and so different images in my mind, really nice work! :)

Im suprised you guys like the electronic instrumentation, didnt expect as much positive scores for this track seeing as its not a very popular style to go with synth bips usually, its 'my style though and ill keep doing it hehe.

Dont know if it fits anything 'sad. I think it could fit with a homecoming scene for some village or something though :)

Good song

I like the pace of the song. It's not too fast but fast enough to fit in fighting games and get the adrenaline of the player pumping.

I also like that the melodies and the drums work so well together. Sometimes I think the melodies should stand out a bit more, but overall the mixing is done pretty good.

Then I like the "quieter" part during the middle. It keeps the song from getting boring and also gives the listener a chance to catch some breath, heh.
