Cool

Pretty cool song. I like the beat here, it sounds very nice with the bassy kick. The voice samples are well chosen as well and even though they are sometimes a bit hard to understand due to your editing, they add a lot to the song.

The main problem I had with this song is that it seemed to me as if the whole song was just some kind of intro. I waited the whole time for the "big bang", the point where the "real" song starts.

But the song is good anyway. :)

Good song

The fast paced intro is really cool. It creates a very tense atmosphere. I also like that we can hear this part again later in the song.
The flute gives the song a very strange twist. Unlike the piano (which is very fast paced) the flute plays some very calm melodies, which creates a nice and interesting effect.

However, the cymbal doesn't seem to fit into the song. It sounds a bit weird. Maybe it's the echo on the cymbal sound.

Yes, as I said to Lief913, I made the flute to give it that strange feel cuz i really wanted to give it an End of the world feel. I Can help but adding more instruments from then like the Pizzi Strings and The Choir.

Yes, the cymbal, doesnt fit in that much but it's the closest thing to an explosion that's not electronic that I could find, so yeah, Kinda. It doesnt have Delay (Echo) though, I amped it up with a hell load of reverb :P

Good song

This is a nice track. I like the deep bass here. Also the main beat is very original and so are the melodies. I also like how diversified the song is. Even though it's over 3 minutes long it doesn't get boring even after the 4th or 5th play through in a row.

However, everything is a tad bit too loud, meaning that all the instruments seem to compete in loudness with each other. I think you should try to add some more dynamics in the song.

But yeah, the loudness thing is a tricky and important problem to solve, thanks for pointing it out. I might try to re-master this track, but if I don't I'll keep it in mind for my future work. Thanks Haggard.

Has potential

Well, this song has potential. It's kind of slow moving right now (even though it picks up a bit later on in the song), but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, I think the bass should be a lot deeper than it is now, to create an even more sinister atmosphere. I think this would make this song even better.

yeah as im making more for this song im finding outy i need to chop up samples and toss in more of a scratchy feel to it as well as get the diversity flowing. i did take your advice and get the bass to be lower. i had added a sub bass and sidechained it with the wobble bass. now its low down dirty and you can feel it vibrate on your ball hair.

Very good song, nice melodies

Nice melodies in this one. They seem to float so easily and really set the listener into some sort of "dreaming state", where he just listens to this song and dreams away.

However, there are two downsides... first the little beat that can be heard throughout the song (I think it can be heard for the first time at 1:04). It is really annyoing. At least to me, because it somehow reminds me of Right Said Fred's"I'm too sexy", lol.
The other downside is the sudden ending of this song. It's kind of like "bam, it's over now". I really think you should try to add a better outro to this song.

Good song, nice intro

The intro sounds interesting. I like the hissing noises in the background and how the bass is turned all the way down. Almost feels as if I was listening to this on an old radio. But then the scenery "zooms in" and we can hear this song in full quality.

The main beat and the melodies are very catchy, but they get a bit repetitive towards the end, so I think you should try to add some more parts to this song where you break up the main beat a bit.

All of my beats I make for people rap or Spit over so I try not to overpower the Melody with more instruments. Just a Chorus and verse and a mini Bridge so the rappers voice is still powerful too. Thanks for the review though

Chaotic... but cool

Sounds really chaotic, but it has a nice beat and a nice guitar like sound. But it's hard to really get into this song, because everything seems to be all over the place the whole time.

Also, the overall sound quality is a bit low. It all sounds a bit too muffled (except for the drums, they sound fine), don't know if this is supposed to sound like this, but I don't like it too much either way.

I also think a slightly longer outro could help this song. It's quite short right now and I tend to like longer songs better. So if you worked a bit on the outro you could easily add another 30 seconds to the song, which in my opinion is a decent length for a song.

So, overall the song isn't too bad. The main beat is quite cool actually. But there's also some room for improvements left.

Nice

A very nice piece. Could be used as background music for various scenes, but it is also nice to just sit down and listen to this.

The piano is one of my favorite instruments and this song is one of the reasons why: You can create great songs with only the piano. It's hard to do with other instruments (only drums in a song? Can get boring quickly. Guitar? Can also get boring very quickly. But a piano? Hell, just play on and on and never stop. :) ).

Well, I listened to this about 6 or 7 times now and I just can't find anything that's wrong with it. ^^

Sounds good so far

The mixing seems to be pretty rough at this point. It's either "full volume" or "not playing at all" it seems. Some volume settings in between for the melodies would sound nice, just like you did with the transition to the very hyperactive last part.

Also the song gets a bit repetitive in the main beat in the first part of the song. Plus there are a few parts where the melody stops completly and only the beat can be heard. This doesn't sound too good to me and I think you should try to introduce some more instruments into the song to get rid of those "silent moments" (well, not really silent, but when only the main beat plays it all feels a bit empty).

I agree with you man. The mixing is definitely rough, mostly because I just threw this together, and should totally be fixed. I'll try to add more smooth transitions as well.

I will fix the repetitiveness, I'm currently working on a couple more melodies as well as I slightly different set up, and I will definitely add some pads and extra instruments to get rid of those "silent moments".
