Good pic

Hey, I remember that dragon from a different picture. I thought it was a bit bigger, but now it seems it's just a pocket dragon. ^^

It's again a very nice picture, with lots of details in it. The grain of the wood in the background looks really nice and I'm glad you didn't just copy paste one wood lath but gave every one of them a unique look.

Only thing is that the wings of the dragon are a bit too big in propotion to his body. But on the other hand, I'm no expert when it comes to dragons. ^^

EchoRun responds:

Yeah, I guess his wings are too big for such a little one, but I guess that is because I am used to the big ones that need the larger wings.

I have done a red dragon before, but that was different one. I know some of my designs can be kinda same-y, but I am working on some new variations, hope to get them finished soon. :)

Nice

This picture looks really nice. The trees at the borders of the canvas create a very nice atmosphere for this picture.

However, at first I thought I was "looking down" on top of some trees rather than "looking up". But we can see the trees at the borders from below... so maybe we are really looking up?
Anyway, this question is really interesting while looking at this picture as it creates a nice effect: I'm looking down AND up at the same time!
A very surrealistic feeling and I don't know if this really was intended by you when you created this pic, but I like the "surrealism" of this work nevertheless. :D

Thanks.

The thing with the main fractal in this image (the background piece), is it is one of those where people don't always see the same thing - I see light shining through leaves above, other people may see a mossy floor. So doing it up like this was always going to be a tad odd - I got that same looking up and looking down at the same time while I was making it. Odd, but cool. :P

Looks good

Haha, just before I read your description I thought "This looks like someone would draw in class when it's boring".

Even though you used only one pen to draw all this you added quite a lot of details to the picutre.

It's also nice that one discovers new things all the time the longer you look at the picture. I especially liked the "Crazy Train" in the bottom right corner. :)

Hahah everything has a meaning XD

Thanks for reviewing!

Nice

A really nice drawing. Even though we can only see one eye the painting offers some great details.

The scales look very good and also the "dot of light" on the eye looks very realistic.

Too bad there are some white spots left on the canvas here and there, but I guess this is because of the material you worked with.

EchoRun responds:

Yeah, the white spots were annoying, though I managed to fix them - after you pointed them out that is.

Thank you for the review. :)

Good pic

Ying-Yang pics have been done over and over again so it's nice to see a new approach at that sign. The patterns here look really nice and quite hypnotic (especially the black/bottom part of the sign).

However, I think the white lines in the black part could be a bit thinner, in my opinion this would make the hypnotic effect even stronger.

MonoFlauta responds:

I didnt really wanted to make it to look hypnotic... mabye bonus :O

Haha thanks for reviewgin!

Good

The T-Rex looks quite good, I like the look on his face and how he's dressed in a suit.
I can't quite make out what the creature in the lower right corner is supposed to be, though.

Also, the tail and the legs of the T-Rex look a bit weird. I think it would look better if the tail wouldn't go through his legs but point to the left side.

Overall it's a nice picture and I like the title very much. ^^

It's a featherless turkey, like the kind you buy during thanksgiving...

Looks nice

Looks very simple, but I bet it's not that easy to create, since paper "doesn't forgive". One wrong cut and the cut stays there, you can only try to hide it, but you cannot undo it.

I quite like this piece, especially the mouth looks really cool.

The lines on his face (the war paint, I guess) would look better if the lines where attached better to the face, though; right now they stick out a bit. Maybe some glue could handle this (don't know if you can use glue with that kind of work, though).

Fro responds:

Yeah, I noticed that too. I think I'll glue that and update it later on along with some other things people suggested

Nice

It's a bit too big for my monitor, heh. But the full effect only shows if you look at this picture in full size.

The title "crazy lines" is very fitting for this picture and I like the effect the lines create. The picture almost has a 3D effect when viewed in full size, as if those lines would represent some mountains or something.

Maybe there's a bit too much black on this picture, large chunks are just left blank here. But on the other hand, if you would add more to the picture you could very easily destroy the nice geometrical lines you have right now on the canvas.

Those geometrical shapes created by the straight "base lines" are another thing I like about the picture. And I think they fit to the title as well. Straight lines aren't exactly crazy, but when viewed in full size you can actually see that those lines that appear to be straight consists many other lines, that are every thing else, but they aren't straight...
Wow, I hope this last paragraph made at least some sense... ^^

Heh, thanks a lot for the nice review, yeah, I wanted to give a 3d-ish effect, and I only succeeded partially..

Good

This looks really good. The background is very nice and the knight looks very threatening.

However, I think the colours a re a bit too "dirty". Sure, it makes the knight look as if he just fought a long and hard battle, but some clearer colours would look better, in my opinion.

Also, the flames on the knight's head don't look that good. Maybe you should leave them out.

But overall it's a very good picture.
