I kinda like this one. It starts off very slow, but builds up speed towards the middle of the song, where you also add a few more instruments and thus adding a lot more variation to the song.

Right now it all sounds very much like sound samples (well, and I think that's what it acutally is ^^), but it sounds nevertheless very good!

I especially like the slow ending for this one. It really fits well together with the rest of the song.

Well, either there's something wrong with my ears or there indeed ARE some dissonant tunes in there...
Anyway, whether there are dissonant tunes in there or not, this track sounds really nice! Especially if you just did that to get away from your homework, heh.

The drum track is pretty basic, but this way it doesn't distract the listener from the excellent piano work. I like how the track builds up the speed during the song. It starts quite slow but gets faster and faster the longer the track is. Nice work!

This is again a very nice song for a hotel lobby, heh. This just sounds so nice and relaxing that no guest would even think about getting angry at the hotel staff ^^.

The guitar is a very nice addition to the track. With only the piano it would get boring, I think. But with the guitar we have something else to listen to, so both the piano and the guitar stay interesting throughout the song.

Only thing that bothers me is the quick end. Either try to loop the song or add a slower ending to it.

Wow, this sounds almost like it was played by an orchestra (well, if it wasn't for this "sound sample"-like tunes here and there ;) ).

But this song sounds nevertheless very epical and I think this would fit really well into strategic games like Civilization or Age of Empires. The song keeps itself very good in the background, so it wouldn't distract the player from what he is doing, but at the same time it would be a nice tune to listen to while playing.

The melody of this song is very nice and I like listening to this song a lot! :)

I'm glad you liked it- I would love to see this put in a flash of some sort. :D

I like the vocals. They sound a bit like Sprechgesang, but it fits really well together with the music here.

The rhythm of the song is great too. You used some great riffs and some very cool melodies in this track. However, the main riff gets a bit repititive during the song, as it can be heard literally everywhere. During the verses, during the chorus and during the bridges. A bit more variation here would be nice.

The lyrics are somewhat strange, but they are nevertheless quite cool ^^.

The beat sounds very nice. The bass is great and those percussions really fit into the song. Makes it almost sound like a Drum 'N' Base song ^^.

Unfortuneatly the beat gets repititive quite fast, so it's a good thing you added some voice samples into the song. They sound... well, wicked. Just like the song title promised ^^ and they also keep the song from getting too repititive.

The loop is done perfectly, if it weren't for the progress bar I couldn't tell where the song starts and where it ends!

Hmmm... maybe I should change the genre to trance so I don't get beaten over the head with this repetitive stuff :P

I agree that variation would really help... now I just gotta figure out what else to throw in there.

Thanks for the review

Well, just like APF already mentioned, this song is in dire need of vocals! The beat is nice, and so is the melody (reminds me a bit of some 80's songs, heh), but there's something like lyrics missing here.

Right now the song is neither fish nor fowl. But it has really great potential, I think. So you should work even harder on it to get it completed! :)

I hoped that song would speed up a little bit after the intro, but it doesn't... oh well.

However, a few more changes from the main beat sure would be nice and also add a lot more diversity to it. Especially the first 2 minutes or so are extremly repititive and it gets a bit dull after listening to the beat for such a long time.

So, it's a very good thing that you designed the song far more interesting after those 2 minutes and added a lot of very cool (and sometimes even quite scary) effects to the song.

Thanks for the review man, yeah it has become totally clear to me now that I really need to change the beat alot. I think i'm gonna change the bass so that it is at least slightly different in every phrase as well.

It was sort of meant to be a piece which builds, but I think it ended up sounding too repetitive.

Thanks for the review, it is greatly appreciated. James

Great song!

The intro is very nice and slow. Maybe you need to put a little more work into the crossover from intro to first verse, as right now it's very abrupt. A more soft crossover would be better here IMO.

The verses are what make this song so awesome. The beat and the voice go really well along together and you manage to create a very good flow of words and rhymes.

You really should post the lyrics, because I'm having quite a hard time to make them out (english isn't my native language and when people talk too fast it's hard to understand them ;) ).

Yes, this is VERY repititive. But if it was meant to be that way, there's nothing I could say against that ^^.

The loop is quite short, but the beat sounds very nice. You said you wanted to give the track a "dreamy" feeling. Well, I think you've done a very good job with that.

I think this track has very great potential. You can just leave it as it is now and you have a good (but repititive) loop, or you can add much more to it, as it sounds as if it was an intro to a much longer song.
Somehow this track reminds me of songs like "King of my castle" and the theme of "Captain Future", so if you ever want to create tracks like this, you can use this submission as an intro to it ^^
