This is very good. You managed to give the song your personal touch while at the same timethe song sounds very much like the original.

The vocals are done quite good, even though I don't like the effects you used here, I feel like they have been overdone already.

Some more variations to this would be very nice, like some breaks or fill ins here and there. Then it would sound even better.

"music for softcore lesbian porn scenes"

Hehe, what a fitting description! :P

But I think this piece is too good to be wasted in softcore porns, or any porns. I think this would be better for some games. Most likely Tower Defence, or Puzzle games. The song is very good as a background song, as it is very quiet and relaxing. Just the kind of music you need when all hell broke loose on the screen. ;)

However, the drums need some more work. Right now the drum track sounds a bit boring. A few more variations in the drums during the track would be very nice.

Hey thanks a bunch for the compliments! I wish my music would get used in games ;) I actually agree with the drums, the song is pretty repetitive as a whole, just like porn music. anyways, thanks for another review! :D

Oh this reminds me. I have to finish FFX2!

The song is really good, too bad I don't remember the original from the game. But this track sure fits into a Final Fantasy game, so you've done a good job! ;)

I like how the different instruments work together, they create a very dense atmosphere. Also the song keeps itself very well in the background, so that it doesn't distract the player during the game.

The ending is done very good. Sometimes those kind of songs are really hard to end, but you've managed to give this song a very fitting end.

S3C responds:

I need to finish that game too haha.

Thanks man :) Yeah the ending was pretty easy to make actually, it's pretty much the intro with just some bells thrown in, and a chord to end the whole thing. What I had trouble with was the string parts.

Thanks for the review!

Sounds very "epic" and I can imagine hearing that piece while I see a scene you described in your author comments.

Too bad that the loop is somewhat messed up. When the loop starts again it's a tad bit out of timing.

Other than that, this is a great submission!

S3C responds:

Hmmm, i dont know how it could be out of time seeing is quantized and made in a computer :P or maybe you mean something else or I have a different understanding of being out of time.

But I'm glad you think it goes with the themes :) Thanks for the review!

It's a very nice song with some great vocals. The guitars and drums also sound pretty good. But again the drum track sounds pretty generic to me.

This could also be listed under "Gothic Rock" as well, I guess as the song reminds me of some lesser known goth bands, heh (no, that's not a a bad thing ;) ).

The track also offers a nice length. Most audio portal entries seem to be very short, so this track does stand out.

Thank you so much. Hmmm, what should I do to improve my drums?

Yes, I have a little Goth inspiration. The guitar in the song was heavily influenced by the album Pornography by the Cure.

Sounds very nice to me. A lot of different instruments here, they add a lot to this submission.

I also like the tune the piano plays (well, the piano is the main instrument here, after all ^^). But unlike some of your other tracks the piano is accompanied by quite a lot of other instruments. It sounds much more "professional" and overall just better this way. Keep it up! :)

I somehow feel that there's not much happening in this song. But in fact, it is quite diversified, even though it's only 1:15 long. Strange...

I like that the song starts and ends with those bells, but there's a little gap at the end. Maybe you can fix that, so that it loops a bit better (if the song was supposed to loop, that is ;) ).

I also like the main beat of the song. It sounds very cheerful and sorta happy. But even after listening to it serveral times I still get the feeling I described above... and I really don't know what went wrong here. But it's probably me. It was a long day today! ;)

This sounds VERY different from the songs I already heard/reviewed that were also made by you. This is a very good thing as it shows that you are able to play more "styles".

I like this tune as it is very calm, yet it I feel a bit uncomfortable while listening to this. The tune creates a very dense and almost creepy atmosphere.
To be honest, nearly every feeling can be interpreted into this piece. I really like that.

I really don't know what you can improve here, as this already sounds perfect to me! :)

The singing is quite cool, even though sometimes the singers aren't in time with each other.

I liked the distorted guitar. The distortion is very heavy and yet the guitar is kept very much in the background. That creates some "strange" dynamics while listening to the song.

The drum track sounds very generic and quite boring, I think it needs to be diversified a bit more. A few breaks here and there would do the trick.

It's a very nice song. The intro is very quiet and nice. Sometimes it's played a bit unclean, but that's okay. It just adds a bit "live" atmosphere, heh.

When the song speeds up after the intro it gets even better! I like the vocals and the guitars here, but the drums could sound a bit better, imho.
