Yep, definatly starts of pretty slow. But at 0:33, when those drums begin to play... boy, that sounds awesome! Everything just fits perfectly there. Drums and melody create a very dense atmosphere.

Even though the song is over 5 minutes long it never gets boring. Because of the different parts you put in here the song is very diversified and it's great fun listening to it!

thanx for the ten dude...we tried to do something hip hop ish but failed so we just kinda went to melding separate track together ..it was pulled off nicely but obviously not perfect... and of course we tried to go a lil crazy with the ending.

again thanx for the ten

Damn, I never played Donkey Kong on any game system, so I can't say much about the original. But the remix sounds very nice and almost creepy from time to time, when that happy glockenspiel takes a break and we are left with that sinister background noise... *shudders*

This track creates a great sience fictional atmosphere. I really can imagine this track being the intro theme to a great series like "Captain Future" or something similar.

The melody is very catchy and the track overall is quite varied, which keeps the song from getting boring.

Only the drums don't sound that good, maybe you can find a better, more bassy sound for them.

Wow, what a great song. This is one of the best songs I've listened to in the audio portal so far (and I've listened to A LOT of great songs already! ;) ).

Just like Coop, the intro reminds me a lot of Nothing Else Matters. But that's not a bad thing, as Metallicas intro is one of the best in music history. ^^

I really like the vocals, even though it sometimes sounds a tad bit dissonant when both voices sing. But it fits into the song and doesn't disturb the atmosphere the song creates.

I also like the short and very soft solo towards the end of the song. It's hard to write good soli that fit into the song. But this one fit in there seamlessly. Good job!

A nice track with a good beat and a catchy melody. The length of the track is nice, too.

I like how you added so many various parts to the song. This keeps it from getting repititiv too fast.

My major concern with the track is that it all sounds too quiet. I had to turn uo the volume of my speakers even though the songs I had listened to before where all at the "right" volume. Maybe you can change that.

Wow, this is definatly a very diversified song, almost chaotic. It sounds as if three or four songs are going on at the same time, but it works.

I think the intro was the weakest part of the song. When the piano sets in the song gets A LOT better and easier to listen to (the change in volume during the intro was a bit annoying).

I like that you changed the beat, rhythm and melody so often. Those kind of experiments can go awfully wrong, but as I've already mentioned above: It works! :)

This part has a great 8-bit-feeling to it. Maybe because of the "heroic melody" you used here. I think this part works very well as the "omega" part as "omega" is a synonym for "end", and this melody can be used very good to end a flash or a film. The hero is victorius and returns home.

I really enjoyed listening to this three part-lasting song. Every part can be viewed as a single song, yet all parts can be put together for a very long (and very diversified!) song. Good work!

I'm glad you liked my heroic melody. I didn't think it was that good :/ but if you like it its kool with me.

Thanks for taking the time to listen to my 8 minute song. Glad you liked it.

The first half sounds really trancy and the second half.. well like a mixture of rock and trance, heh.

My main problem is again with the strange sounding guitar, but as you've already used that sample in the first part of your three part song it's nice to see some resemblance between the parts.

The piano outro of this song is very nice and was very unexpected! :)

TheBellmaker responds:

Thanks for the review again. I'm glad you liked the outro of the song.

As for the guitar ya its the same one from part one.

It's a nice song with a great varity. I like how you added many different effects and changes in the main beat to the song. This keeps the song from getting boring and the listener can discover something new on every new playthrough of the song. ^^

The guitar you used in the second half of the song sounds a bit strange... but that's the problem with sound samples, I guess. It would be very nice if some skilled guitarist could help you out with a real guitar there. Would sound so much better!

Thanks for the review Haggard.

As for the guitar, its actually a plugin built into Fruilty Loops. Its the best guitar I had, so I had to use that.

Again a very nice track by SBB with a great melody and a great concept.
But I have to say that it doesn't quite feel like an "ice desert". The music is too "warm" in my opinion.

Maybe you shouldn't add so much reverb to the instruments. Also some sounds of a blowing wind would help, I guess.

However, I really like listening to this and I enjoy the melodies you created. Your songs tend to never get boring. I'm listening to this track the fourth time in a row now and I still haven't got enough of this. ^^
