Looks nice

Looks very simple, but I bet it's not that easy to create, since paper "doesn't forgive". One wrong cut and the cut stays there, you can only try to hide it, but you cannot undo it.

I quite like this piece, especially the mouth looks really cool.

The lines on his face (the war paint, I guess) would look better if the lines where attached better to the face, though; right now they stick out a bit. Maybe some glue could handle this (don't know if you can use glue with that kind of work, though).

Fro responds:

Yeah, I noticed that too. I think I'll glue that and update it later on along with some other things people suggested

Nice

It's a bit too big for my monitor, heh. But the full effect only shows if you look at this picture in full size.

The title "crazy lines" is very fitting for this picture and I like the effect the lines create. The picture almost has a 3D effect when viewed in full size, as if those lines would represent some mountains or something.

Maybe there's a bit too much black on this picture, large chunks are just left blank here. But on the other hand, if you would add more to the picture you could very easily destroy the nice geometrical lines you have right now on the canvas.

Those geometrical shapes created by the straight "base lines" are another thing I like about the picture. And I think they fit to the title as well. Straight lines aren't exactly crazy, but when viewed in full size you can actually see that those lines that appear to be straight consists many other lines, that are every thing else, but they aren't straight...
Wow, I hope this last paragraph made at least some sense... ^^

Heh, thanks a lot for the nice review, yeah, I wanted to give a 3d-ish effect, and I only succeeded partially..

Good

This looks really good. The background is very nice and the knight looks very threatening.

However, I think the colours a re a bit too "dirty". Sure, it makes the knight look as if he just fought a long and hard battle, but some clearer colours would look better, in my opinion.

Also, the flames on the knight's head don't look that good. Maybe you should leave them out.

But overall it's a very good picture.

ur right thanks for the review

Good picture

I like this one even better than your "Stream Scene" picture, because we can see the effects from farther away.
Again the colours go along very well with each other and they create a very nice atmosphere, very energetic.

The "explosion of energy" from where all the lines come from looks amazing, just as if you captured the explosion of some sort of Supernova.

The waves going around the lines are another nice element. They break up the "linearity" of the picture.

Thanks for the review!

I was trying to make this look a lot better then Stream Scene. I basically took a majority of the reviews and re-created something new from it.

Luv the "Supernova," comment really made my day!

Nice

The shoopdawhoop guy is overdone and it's hard to come up with something new there, but fortunatly your picture IS something new. I really like the way the laser is drawn, the colours are very nice and they are good to show the energy of the laser, because they are so bright and almost glowing.

I also like the particles that circle around the laser, even though the white particles seem to suddendly stop at the right side of the picture. I think they are behind the laser at this point, but they should be visible there as well because the "stopping and reappearing" of the white particles doesn't look that good.

Also the blue particles look like they are in front of the laser the whole time. I think to create the effect of being "behind" the laser the dots that are supposed to be behind it should be a tad bit smaller (if they already are smaller then I just didn't notice it -.- ).

Anyway, those are only two little things that don't affect the awesomeness of the picture too much. :)

Not much to say but THANKS FOR catching that particle mistake I'll have to re-upload the pic...if I can get away from my 360 long enough!

Very nice

This drawing looks really good, too bad the background is so dark, though. At the top it's a bit hard to tell where the shoe starts and where the background ends. And because of this the perspective seems to be a bit off (thogh it isn't, it just seems that way).

Anyway, I like the details you added here. The seams at the "toe side" and the side of the shoe look pretty good and they make this picture look very realistic. As if I could simply grab the shoe and put it on my foot.

Very nice work, I hope you got a good mark for it. ;)

Fro responds:

I hope I get a good mark too. :P

I do think the perspective is off a bit as well, but it's my first serious drawing like this so I think I did decently.

Thanks!

Title is misleading

Well, I don't see a teddy in this picture at all, but a childrens doll, all right.

Anyway, I like the idea behind this. Creating a picture with only three colours is interesting and I like the result you came up with.

However, the background still looks a bit bland, maybe some shadings there would look better, or some lines that could resemble a door.

thies responds:

Thanks :). Yeah I was too lazy to draw a background..

No diamonds as well

It's not only that this is not Lucy in the sky, but there aren't also any diamonds in it either. Just a big alien that doesn't look too happy. Well, we can see why it seems unhappy, because it's spaceship just blew up!

I like that you put some clouds in the sky, that looks a lot better than if it was just a plain blue sky. Now we have something else to look at and the canvas doesn't have just one colour on colour on it.

Nice idea

The idea of the pic os very nice, but the drawing could use some more work.

There are some sloppy lines, especially on the left hand side of the picture, where that one outline of the creature is nearly all over the place. Also, there's a small black dot right next to the character, which also doesn't look too good.

But apart from that the picture does look nice, even though it's rather strange, that the feet are still on the down-side, while everything else is upside down. ^^
