Sketchy, but looks nice

Black and white pictures always have the problem that there are so few colours in them, heh.

Anyway, the drawing itself looks nice as it is, and I think with some colours added to it it would look very good.

However, the perspective seems to be a bit off with the roofs in the lower parts of the picture. Especially the roof to the lower right looks awfully off, as if the building doesn't fit to the others. And this wrong perspective is what makes this picture look sketchy to me.

Also the lower part of the legs of Sly Cooper look too thin. Maybe it's what he looks like in the games (I haven't played any of them), but in this picture it looks as if he will break his legs once he lands because they are simply too thin to carry his weight.

Full size

Damn you and your large pics. :P

Seriously though, this pic needs to be viewed in full size. At first I was like: "Hm, not much effort put into this...", then I clicked the "view in full size" link and I was like: "Whoa, actually there's A LOT of detail here!"

Only downside of this picture is that it doesn't offer too many colours. Maybe you could add some more to the drawing to make it even better.

Haha, I like large pics because they have a very high resolution, and that means that you can see all the details...if NG didn't allow more than 2000x2000, I'd probably make them even larger :D
Anyway, I was trying to keep it simple with this one, but I guess that it isn't my style...next time, uber-details and lots of background.

Good, but...

Too bad there's no background in this image, it looks a bit plain right now.

The character looks good and the details are great here. The scar in the face, the pockets on the jacket, the belt... it all looks very good.

Only the legs could be a bit thicker. They are just too thin for my liking. Especially the left leg looks a lot thinner than the right one, which looks really weird.

Good pic

Hey, I remember that dragon from a different picture. I thought it was a bit bigger, but now it seems it's just a pocket dragon. ^^

It's again a very nice picture, with lots of details in it. The grain of the wood in the background looks really nice and I'm glad you didn't just copy paste one wood lath but gave every one of them a unique look.

Only thing is that the wings of the dragon are a bit too big in propotion to his body. But on the other hand, I'm no expert when it comes to dragons. ^^

EchoRun responds:

Yeah, I guess his wings are too big for such a little one, but I guess that is because I am used to the big ones that need the larger wings.

I have done a red dragon before, but that was different one. I know some of my designs can be kinda same-y, but I am working on some new variations, hope to get them finished soon. :)

Nice

This picture looks really nice. The trees at the borders of the canvas create a very nice atmosphere for this picture.

However, at first I thought I was "looking down" on top of some trees rather than "looking up". But we can see the trees at the borders from below... so maybe we are really looking up?
Anyway, this question is really interesting while looking at this picture as it creates a nice effect: I'm looking down AND up at the same time!
A very surrealistic feeling and I don't know if this really was intended by you when you created this pic, but I like the "surrealism" of this work nevertheless. :D

EchoRun responds:

Thanks.

The thing with the main fractal in this image (the background piece), is it is one of those where people don't always see the same thing - I see light shining through leaves above, other people may see a mossy floor. So doing it up like this was always going to be a tad odd - I got that same looking up and looking down at the same time while I was making it. Odd, but cool. :P

Looks good

Haha, just before I read your description I thought "This looks like someone would draw in class when it's boring".

Even though you used only one pen to draw all this you added quite a lot of details to the picutre.

It's also nice that one discovers new things all the time the longer you look at the picture. I especially liked the "Crazy Train" in the bottom right corner. :)

Yes because i was really bored! XD

"I especially liked the "Crazy Train" in the bottom right corner. :)"

Hahah everything has a meaning XD

Thanks for reviewing!

Nice

A really nice drawing. Even though we can only see one eye the painting offers some great details.

The scales look very good and also the "dot of light" on the eye looks very realistic.

Too bad there are some white spots left on the canvas here and there, but I guess this is because of the material you worked with.

EchoRun responds:

Yeah, the white spots were annoying, though I managed to fix them - after you pointed them out that is.

Thank you for the review. :)

Good pic

Ying-Yang pics have been done over and over again so it's nice to see a new approach at that sign. The patterns here look really nice and quite hypnotic (especially the black/bottom part of the sign).

However, I think the white lines in the black part could be a bit thinner, in my opinion this would make the hypnotic effect even stronger.

MonoFlauta responds:

I didnt really wanted to make it to look hypnotic... mabye bonus :O

Haha thanks for reviewgin!

Good

The T-Rex looks quite good, I like the look on his face and how he's dressed in a suit.
I can't quite make out what the creature in the lower right corner is supposed to be, though.

Also, the tail and the legs of the T-Rex look a bit weird. I think it would look better if the tail wouldn't go through his legs but point to the left side.

Overall it's a nice picture and I like the title very much. ^^

It's a featherless turkey, like the kind you buy during thanksgiving...
