Nice

Simple, but very nice. Reminds me more of a hurricane, but you are right, the clouds also look very "dreamy".

I especially like the colors in this picture, they go along pretty well together.

Thanks, the colors were actually my biggest fear, most of the times I get them wrong and that tends to discourage me, because an otherwise nice picture gets ruined by my choice of colors.

Wow...

This looks amazing. Maybe there are a tad bit too many stars there, but I like the effect on them. It really seems as if they are sending out light, as if they brighten their surroundings because of the lightening.

Because of the amazing sky one could nearly miss the angel sitting there on the rock, lol. But the character looks as amazing as the rest of the picture. Good work! :)

Nice

Again a very detailed picture. Especially the floor is awesome (but with photoshop propably a lot easier than if you would draw all this with a pencil, heh).

Anyway, I like the perspective of the floor. It really looks as if it "reaches into" the room and not as if it was simply painted on a 2D canvas.

The demon looks good as well. Especially the chest. However, his left leg is somewhat strange. I just can't figure out if this is supposed to be his thigh or his tail there with that medal. Propably his left thigh, but looks a bit strange nevertheless.

I think the mix of dragon type limbs on a human-ish body, low colour contrast, and that pedestal blocking the view makes the whole thing a bit funny on the eyes. Not a series of mistakes I plan to repeat! lol.

Thanks for the review!

Gets better the longer you look at

At first I wasn't sure if I really like the blurred background. It seemed a bit out of place. But the longer I looked at the picture the more I received the impression that the blurred background is because this is just a snapshot of a fraction of a second. The lightening strikes and I can see the Avatar just now, when the lightening hits the tree. Plus, it's a storm, so the bushes and the trees do not stand still, but are in a constant move because of the blowing wind.
This is pretty good captured with the blurred background.

I again like the little details here, for example that some branches are flying through the air where the lightening strikes. I also like the colours of the lightening itself, looks pretty real.

The Avatar itself could use some more details, though.

The stormy look was a tricky one, but I liked what I ended up with so I let this one be.

I remember that

Hey, I remember that picture from the flash portal. I think you once requested a review in the RRC.

Yeah, I still like it and still the sun is my favorite part of it. :)

Thank you very much for your review Haggard.

Glad you still like it :)

Great art!

Well, I think I will visit the art portal more often if I can expect pictures to be THAT good!

I like how detailed this picture is. Not only the dragons are drawn with great detail (you can almost hear the wings flap from the mother dragon...) but also the grass, the cliffs and the sky offer some great details. Must have taken you pretty long to get this all done. I especially like that the sky is only partly clouded. Many artist seem to go for only one at a time: A clear sky or a clouded sky. In this picture we have both. Great. :)

Only downside is the left side of the baby dragon where is wings are. It looks a bit strange as if there is one part of the dragon missing.

Anyway, the picture is still great and worth a 10! ;)

Thank you!

I like a mixed sky - I think it is interesting, more colours, more textures... The only time I either go one way or another is with a starry sky, because I think stars are pretty (I think this is an exception to that trend lol), and when I draw storm clouds, which I also think is very cool. :D

As for the baby, I think that was down to me not being used to drawing dragons that small, young and in that pose. I was trying for perspective but I see what you mean, it does look a little off.
