I don't like trailers. Just because they either don't really show what to expect (everything is ripped out of context) or they make me really want to see/play the full version ^^.

The animations in here were where smooth and you made good use of the sprites. The battle scenes could have been a bit faster, though (but maybe it was just my PC lagging...).

The music was a bit too loud, but well chosen.

Hope to see the full movie soon! ;)

The graphics are quite simple, but it sure is a nice style for a flash. Maybe you can improve on the backgrounds a bit (some trees or maybe a bird flying by) and you have a simple but effective drawing style.

The opening took a bit long with those slow tweenings here, so maybe you want to speed up that scene a bit.

Also the lack of sounds lets the flash a bit down. A sound for the bus hitting the brakes, a sound for the stream of oranges, and so on.

I liked how the bus stopped. The motions looked very smooth here.
My favorite scene was the ending scene where the poor guy whipes the stuff out of his eyes. That looked very good.

Thanks for your review! I'm getting really good suggestions from you guys! I'll be sure to put in more background stuff and find more sounds. And I'm glad you liked the end part: it took me forever to figure out what I should do, but like 2 minutes to pull it off! Lol.

I don't know wheter I like this flash or not. First of all, the drawings were bad (duh), but some of your comments and additions made me smile... so, I think I like this flash, but it's nothing I could watch all day long ^^.

The music you chose was quite nice, but a button to turn the music off would have been even nicer, as even the best melody gets annoying after some time.

I really liked the fading of the buttons when I clicked on one, that showed that you indeed can pull off a better job at drawing than you friend.
I also liked the "title screens" before a picture was shown (for example the word "COW" in a very cowish style, with a black and white "skin").

There were only so many pictures because, like you said, you can only see the same basic thing so many times. There were actually other pictures. About 5 or 6, but there wasn't as much to be said about them that wouldn't be stale and boring.

I never considered a music on/off switch. Good idea.

I did those titles to atleast show that I have some level of drawing. That way i'm not just critisizing without showing I can do atleast a little better.

On a side note you spelt Review wrong, but i'll over look it ;)

Thanks for the review

The phrase "Make Love Not War" squeezed into a tiny little flash... and it turns out pretty well!

Even though the flash is quite short and the graphics are a bit sloppy I like this flash. The message is transported simple and well.

You chose the music very well, as every piece suits the scene it is used in.

But you should try to improve you graphics. As I've already written, they seem to be kind of sloppy. Maybe using a smaller tool can help you here. And sometimes one has to draw a line serveral times before it is perfect ;) . This is of course hard work, but I think at the end of the day it will pay off and resulting in a higher score.

Thanks, yeah, the graphics were rushed, I started and finished it on valentines day, so, very tight schedule, but with some more time I've got a better attention to neatness and detail (but even there, I'm still looking for lots of helpful tips). Flash isn't really my domain, but at the same time, I've got an affinity for all forms of media, and I like to play around in flash and see what results will come out. I'm glad you liked the message, I think that it's something that's not told enough, so I'm really glad that came through the sloppy graphics.
Thanks for your review.

A very nice submission!

Even though the animation style is kinda sloppy sometimes (for example at the end when the 3 girls are walking down the street) it all just fits together very well.

The plot is nicely planned out and even though you have a lot of scene changes in here it's very easy to follow.
I especially liked the humor you put in here. Sometimes random humor (like the cat in the bed) and sometimes "real" humor.

The voice acting was done very good. All the characters had voices that were easy to distinguish.
Only thing that bothers me about the voices is that sometimes a "clack" sound could be heard when one character was interrupting an other character. Maybe you can edit that quite annoying sound out.

Ok thanks for the review and glad you liked the humor. For some reason a lot of people loved that cat scene maybe it wasn't funny to me because I expected it, but anyways thanks!

I like this animation. It starts of pretty hectic, like some sort of intro for an animated series.

One has to watch it more than once to get all the little details you added in there, but it's definetly worth it.
The drawings style is a bit sloppy, but I think it suits this flash very well.

However, the quality of the sound was quite bad, which let the flash down a bit. Maybe you shouldn't compress the audio that much.
Also the voice actings had that bad sound quality, but it was good in every other aspect.

I did find the easter egg, even though I had to start over the flash serveral times, because that snowman is gone so fast.
The easter egg is very random and quite funny. Do you know which language that theme from "Duck Tales" was sung in?

Ying-yong responds:

Yes, the audio is quite bad since my mic I recorded everything in is somewhat old. The theme song was in Finnish, as it said in the credits. Glad you enjoyed the graphical portions of the movie, and thanks for the review.
