Nice

It's a nice flash with decent graphics and pretty good voice acting. But sometimes the voices where a bit hard to understand, due to change in the volume of the various voices. For example the narrator is very quiet, while other voices (like that Portal voice) are significantly louder than that. This is quite annoying as I have to manually adjust the volume the whole time.

So I think subtitles would have been pretty nice to have.

Most of the story seems pretty random... at least to me, as I've not heard of Splapp before I watched this flash. However, some of the jokes where funny (even to me), some of them I didn't understand. :(

Overall, this is a very good movie.

Thanks for the detailed review

Nice

This was a very good movie, although it was a bit too short. The graphics looked pretty good and the tweens were also used very well.

The character desgin was good, too. I also liked the sound effects you put into the flash.

While the flash is a bit short it gave me a good laugh at the end. Also, the credits are hilarious! ;)

Thank you bunches! I am glad you enjoyed!

Amazing

This is quite an amazing sprite fight you created here. The moves of the characters are very smooth and the fight seems to be planned out pretty well.
Only thing is that the Castlevania guy (yeah, I don't know his name. Never played a Castlevania game. ^^) never hit with his fireballs. He should have stopped trying after the second time he missed. XD

Anyway, I like the background graphics and how you involve the environment in the fighting. I also like the scene selection at the beginning of the flash. It gives me the possibility to watch my favorite parts of the fight again without having to wait too long. :)

Hey again Haggard,
Thanks once again for your visit :)

Glad you liked it ^^
Aye, Alucard wasn't lucky with his Hellfire, but due to the limitation of the sprites there's very few moves (non-custom) that I could use before they get boring - True to the game, his Hellfire is a teleport & 3xFireball attack, the only custom version being the lasor type in the corridoor and his flamethrower type one in the falling segment.

Just like Alucard wasn't lucky with Hellfire or Swords, Richter didn't land more than one Barrage or Uppercut, no whips and threw nothing but Holy Water - This is good & bad for me because it leaves me with the challenge (and space) of allowing those moves to happen in any sequels... (Richter / Alucard Knives/Axes/Bible/HolyCross weapons and other moves).

God knows I'll need them because I'm suprised people liked this fight and I really don't know how I can improve on it >.<

Thanks for your review bud, happy new year!

Good movie

A good movie and a very good theory about the "disappearing socks" problem. The only loophole in this theory may be the question: Who takes the socks out of the machine?

Anyway, I liked the background in the aundromat with the mirror-inverted letters on the window. This was a nice detail.

The rest of the graphics are pretty good. They are not always the best, but it's nice to look at them. :)

The story was good. Maybe the pace of the narrating was a bit too slow sometimes, but it was definitely worth the wait. The final "battle" against that orc/troll was very funny.

Oh, and I also liked your various theroies you had in the preloader. This was a nice idea to place them there. It gives the viewer something to look at while he/she's waiting for the movie to load.

Well I suppose it could be the inhabitants of sockland who use the hook, but your right its not very well explained, it really is just a device for the rest of the story.

Otherwise thanks for the in-depth review, I'm glad you liked the movie!

Funny

Well, the walking sound was already mentioned so often, no need to tell you that again. ^^

The graphics are pretty nice, even though it all looks pretty grainy when zoomed in. The voice acting was done pretty good. But there where sometimes some static sounds when the snowman was talking.

The flash is pretty short, but the joke is very well delivered. To be honest, I like it better when flashes are short but funny as if they are hours long and still only have one punchline to deliver.

PostTimeskipSam responds:

Glad your not pointing out the walking soundfx like everyone else =D. Anyways I'm not sure what you mean when you say grainy. Are you referring to the characters being pixelated, but that was the intention to have an animation use the Pixel Tool.

I really appericate the review, you guys at Review Request Club are truly amazing. Glad you enjoy the animation. =D Thanks again for reviewing!

Good work

I really like the canvas you used. It fits quite well with the theme. The menu is like a "to do list", but with many points on it that aren't even filled out.

Some of the unfinished work was awesome, some of it was... well... not really good.
I liked the guy sitting in front of the TV, switching through channels and the music video for Weezer a lot.
But my favorite part is the last one by zooominsh. He had a very good idea for a flash there. Too bad it's unfinished.

I didn't like the lazer-part and the "vomiting man". Those two didn't offer anything funny to me.

Thanks for the review. It's a rare collab review that reviews separate parts, so I appreciate this review..
