Drastic change

A very short part which again leaves more questions open than it answers.

I liked the change in style here. The bright colours and the melancolic, yet somehow relaxing song fit really well together. This part really stands out from the other parts because of this drastic (yet fitting) change in style.

Maybe it was a little bit too bright though. I get that this is supposed to be some sort of flashback, or some sort of dream sequence, so the bright "filter" in front of the panels is a nice choice, yet I think it should have been a bit more transparent.

Nice build up, bad ending

The flash starts out really lame, but it gets better the longer you let it play. At first we have some images of various clocks flashing up on the screen and you start to think: "Is that all?"
Luckily before it gets too boring the kick sets in and you start to change the background as well. By that time the viewer can realize that there has to be a bit more to this flash than he originally thought.

The cut scenes from that movie with tails head covering the face of the actors was actually pretty funny.

The ending is a bit disappointing though, I was hoping for something more than only a huge face and an annoying beeping tone...

Faster pacing

A pretty good flash in my opinion, but it is too long winded. We can see StrawberryClock coming up behind the earth for what feels like 3 years until that scene is finally over.

A slightly faster pace wouldn't destroy the tension here, in fact it would allow tension to be build up. Now it's like: "Oh, what's happening there?" *wait* "Oh, nothing..."

Maybe a few short scenes that show people's reaction on earth would also be a nice addition to this flash.

Funny, but bad voices

Well, at least we can see some effort being put into this and out of the three flashes I reviewed this is easily the funniest.

But the voices are very quiet and hard to understand, so I guess some subtitles or a better voice acting would be great to have here.

Meh

Intro is very promising, but the looped video at the end was just silly.

You could've turned that into something decent by adding some animations to it and a little "story" of how the cat gets the mice, but only the intro followed by the video hardly shows any effort at all.

Hmmm

Well, there's not much going on here, it's only Gary Coleman in a meat mincing machine.

The flash could do with a little more animation, a better picture of Coleman and something else that comes out of the machine (what was it supposed to be anyways? Chocolate?).

While it didn't look too bad how Coleman got minced it gets boring very quickly as there's nothing else happening. Maybe you could add some reactions for Coleman, like making his eyes bigger when he realizes he's getting minced.
Also, the quality of the picture should be a bit higher, so it would look better.

Also I think the quality of the music should be a bit better, it was very hard to understand...

Needs better vocals

Some of the episodes are quite funny, especially when you always find new ways of delivering your running gags (birds shitting on everything, anvils, etc.).

The vocies are really annoying though, especially when there are statics sounds all over the place when Otis and Edbert talk. Well, if you don't want to change the voices because some people love that about the series then there's nothing I could do about it. But I still have to deduct some points for the low sound quality. :P

Also I think you should try to tidy up the graphics a bit. The bad graphics may be part of the series, but I still think they could be a tad bit better.

Confusing... but funny!

Epic story is epic. Well, maybe it's not really epic, but it is a lot more than I expected from a clock day submission.

The story is a bit hard to follow at times because of all the random events but exactly those random events are making the flash so funny.

I like it how even the narrator doesn't exactly knows whats going on and is as confused as the viewer. What is it that lives there on the island? Horses? Robots? Horbots? No, Robots with little black guys inside. Very nice.

Well, the graphics are very sloppy throughout the flash, but well, it's a submission for clock day, so I think the graphcis are okay the way they are now.

Animations and sound fit together

The song really reminds me of "Brother John" (or "Frère Jacques"), at least the beginning notes of it.

I think you've done a good job animating to this song. The movements on the screen fit pretty well to the song.

However, I didn't like the wobbly effect of the lines. Reading through some of the reviews I think some people like this effect, others don't so I guess it's up to you if you want to continue using this effect or not. ^^
Anyway, I don't like the effect as it easily looks as if not much effort was put into the animation.
Now I don't want to say you did not put effort into this flash, but the "wobbly effect" always leaves the impression for me a flash artist didn't care too much about how the flash looks. So that's why I don't like that effect.

Overall it's a very nice flash that fits really well to the song you chose to animate to.

Surn responds:

It looks like some like the wobble effect and some don't. One could see the wobble effect as more "natural" as opposed to perfect straight lines. But still, you make a good point. If people are split on the wobble effect then it probably isn't worth the effort to incorporate it.

Thanks for your input.

Nice

The animation and graphics are quite good here. I think you should try to make a longer movie with this style you presented in this rather short flash. With the right story I'm sure you can create a very high scoring flash.

The story in this flash is quite strange. We can see a person (J-Kellz, most likely) who speaks on his mobile and is propably recording the voice mail you mention in the title of the flash.

However, I think the flash was lacking a bit in it's setting. We can hear various noises in the background as if the guy on the phone was standing in a huge crowd or as if there was a party going on. I think you should've shown more characters on screen instead of only one single guy jumping up and down the whole time.
Maybe some other people just walking past the screen, some flashing lights, some people that go into another room in the background, etc. .
This would make the flash even better in my opinion.
