I think this track is quite nice, but it's too generic for me. I'm not that much into trance, so it has to be an really kick ass song for me to remember it.

You track is good, but not kick ass. As I've said, it's too generic and predictable for me. Also it lacks varations a bit. Some breaks from the main theme sure would be very nice and would help your song to get better and less gerneric.

Also don't be afraid to experiment with various settings in FL Studio during your songs. Sometimes one can find some really great effects this way.

"Oh my god what a fitting title for that song!"
That's exactly my thought after listening to this track.

I think you've done a good job here, creating something so crazy, yet so funny. I really can imagine you were still drugged while you made this. I feel a little dizzy right now after listening to the song ^^.

The various parts offer a very good beat and some tunes sound pretty familiar (you used some PacMan music in there, didn't you?).

However, the ending didn't fit in there. It was too big a break from the song... I can't tell exactly why I feel this way... maybe because the background music didn't offer that crazy/happy feeling like the rest of the song did.

thanks for the reveiw. i am remaking this song at the moment, which is why i requested the reveiws. I want to keep the ending because it took so much work to make gir's voice fit into an actual song, but i know what you mean.

but now that you mention that its not as happy, that makes alot of sense, im gonna try to put what i have in the rest, into the end of the song

thanks for the help

I like the idea of this song, even though I was not able to see the gates of hell before my inner eye, but heaven... yes, I think I can imagine that while listening to the song.
For a more "hellish" feeling the song needs to be more intense in the hell stage, I think. Maybe even add a few disharmonics here with some high pitched sounds, representing some screaming souls.

TheReno responds:

Thanks. I was just trying to go for a passive agressive feel. But I see where it would help to have some harder chords and a darker mood for hell.

I like the feeling of this track. It's nice and calm and makes me feel kinda warm inside, as if I was sunbathing right now ^^.

I also like the instruments you used here. The strings sound really soft and they go along very well with the background melody.

The tune stays really calm all the time, so I think this could be used as some kind of "world map" music for a RPG like "Final Fantasy" (especially the beginning reminds me of FF), or as a background melody in a strategy game like Civilization.

Suspended-3rd-Chord responds:

hey thanks man :)! its an honor to once again be associated with FF-esque music (although I can honestly say that it wasn't an inspiration for this particular track!) never thought of it being world map music, but I can indeed see how it could fit.

Thanks for the 10 and another nice review Haggard!

The tune itself is quite nice, but there's not much happening in this loop. A few more variations to either the bass line or the main theme sure would be nice and make this loop/song a lot better.

At the end there is a noticeable gap (as already mentioned before ;) ). Try to get rid of that, so that the loop actually loops ;) .

Wow, this song is really epic! The sound quality is so amazing, it sounds as if I would listen to a CD here!

I really like the intro of the song. Starts off pretty soft and slow and then suddendly "BAM!" the song really starts.

The riffs of the guitars sound pretty heavy and also the drums are arranged very well. Awesome song! This is going straight into my favs! :)

Nice cover. F-Zero always has been one of my favorite games and I like the music very much.
You track really reminds me of the game, so I think you've done a good job ^^.

Only problem I have with this song is the abrupt ending. Maybe you should try to loop it. Or maybe a fade out would be a good idea here.

A very nice track, very diversified. It gets never boring, whiche is quite hard to achieve with no vocals at all and a length of over 4 minutes. Gret job here!

Sadly, the guitar sounds more like samples than like a real guitar, which lets the song down a bit. But then again, the whole song is very industrial-like, so that the "sample"-guitars really fit in there, heh...
Anyway, I think with a more realistic guitar sound this track would be even better!

Nice tune. The guitars doing an amazing job here. The melodies and riffs they play sound pretty awesome.

The drums sound very nice, too and both (guitar and drums) go along very well together.

Only the ending let this track down a bit. It sounds too abrupt. Maybe a fade out would be better there.

I like the two singers here. The lyrics are great and the different roles they play are amazing. I also like that Cousin is balanced to the left while Cyril is balanced to the right. This sounds very dynamic and if I was standing between those two while they have their conversation.

The music is brutal as hell and especially the drums sound very awesome here. Only the guitars fall a bit behind the powerful drums and vocals. They could be a bit louder ;) .

CyriltheWolf responds:

I tried my best, but my fear is that the guitars will overpower EVERYTHING!!!! lol. Also, I had a hell of a time mixing the bass. lol

Thanks for the review!
