Pretty cold there in Geneva, the Smoochum never had a chance. It froze to the ground, so that Adolf had an easy time catching it.
After all Adolf is used to cold weather, since he invaded Russia in winter time.

That Smoochum wasn't frozen to the ground!

Well, this looks very rushed. As if it was done in about 5 hours... hey wait!
Ok, seriously now. The graphics look quite nice. I like the background in the first scene (where dad says he has to walk to the store). Nice shading there. Also the colours are very well chosen.
When he walked to the store the background was moving into the wrong direction, but you already know that.
Voice acting would have been good here, but I guess you had no time for that. The speech bubbles you used are ok as well, as you chose a font that is very easy to read (and the white background made it even easier).
The music is quite good, but it starts and ends too abrupt. A little fade in/fade out would sound better, I guees.
Overall, the movie has a lot of potential, it just needs some small fixes here and there.

Thanks for the detailed review, and yea, i know what you mean about the music, we were limited to sound recorder for sound editing. Such fine facilities we worked with, let's hope the Nationals will have better software. Plus we are going with frame by frame animation style in Calgary as we can draw very fast and effective, so have an eye out for that. Also if you can give us any tips for the Nationals May 24-28th, send me your MSN or something, I don't know how PM's work on NG.
Peace,
James

Wow, that was very... um... random. Some scenes were hilarious (like the Monty Python scene), others were pretty bad.
Most of the time it was very hard to understand what the different characters were saying, so you should try to improve the sound quality a bit. Also a nice background would be nice. White backgrounds are a bit lame...

'...Others were pretty bad."
Please elaborate. I'd like to know what hit and what missed. I have aspirations to awesome, but I need to know a general sense of what I trying to appeal to.

April Fool's Jokes are always kinda lame. I never understood why people need a extra day to fool other people.
Well, at least you put some effort into this, you didn't "Rick Roll" but "Rig Roll" people, heh...
For the Blue Hippo you'll get an extra star from me! ^^

It wouldn't have been worth it for me if there hadn't been some creativity to it. Of course, April Fool's jokes are supposed to be lame anyway, its so that you can get over it and laugh at yourself as well. And even if you don't find them funny, hopefully you were light enough at heart to smile.

Wow, Bob seems to be quite a chatterbox. Or maybe he was just nervous and tried to hide it by talking all the time?
I think the graphics in this one are really fine. You added a lot of details to the characters and to the backgrounds, so everything looks really nice.
The animations when Bob talks are pretty good. The gestures he makes fit very well to the things he says and also to the WAY he says those things. Nice work here!
The voice acting was very good, too. Unfortuneatly the sound did crack every now and then, which let the good voice acting down a bit.
I think you should try to work on the animations when Bob is walking. Right now it seems as if he is more floating than walking towards Janet.
