You should do a chocobo remix

You should do a remix on that country style chocobo theme from Final Fantasy VII (the one that played when visiting the chocobo races).

The song sounds indeed very FF-like, but I don't think I have heard it in any FF game... at leat the highwind theme from FF VII is different, I don't have the others in mind right now.

Anyways, good job as always!

I don't watch House

I don't watch the series, so I really can't tell if you did a good job on the remix or not.

But it sounds good nevertheless. It's a bit short, but well... it's for a TV series, so it HAS to be short, right? ^^

Nice idea

Ah, the classic tetris song. It gets so fucking annoying after a while, but it's a tune one will never forget, heh.

The idea with the ringtones is pretty nice, but it sounds a bit off from time to time. I can't really point my finger to places where it sounds off, but there's this feeling that it should sound a little bit different from time to time.

Anyway, I think the idea is quite original and you'll get a bonus star for that. :)

Good song

I know how you feel. It's sad when a string breaks. Especially when you have to replace it with a different string. My e-string broke quite some time ago and I had to replace it with a fucking b-string... :/

Well, the piano sounds very sad and when the guitar suddendly sets in it doesn't sound so fitting at first. But it gets better some seconds later.

The "double solo" (played with two guitars? Or did you use an effect board there?) sounds a bit off from time to time. I think it would be better to only play the solo with only one guitar/without the effect.

I recorded the thing twice (my string broke whilst playing it the second time as you can tell by the abruptness, hence the name), and both came out wrong, so I decided to be lazy and mixed them together :D

Thanks for the review. And yeah, it's a bitch to replace your string, specially when your guitar has a complicated system ._.;

Nice background music

This is a very nice tune to be played in the backround while doing something else. The piano sounds pretty nice and also the main melody is pretty catchy.

Only thing is that the song doesn't change that much during it's playtime.

I don't know if this fits to Runescape or not as I've never played that game. ^^

really? wow. i thought everyone has played this game at some point or another.

Repititve melody

The main melody gets very repititve after 30 seconds or so. I waited for the song to pick up, but sadly it just stayed the same. Even after the short drum break at around 0:30 the song continued with the same old boring main melody (which only changed slightly here).

So, this song definatly needs more varity!

8-bit like

Sounds very much like 8-bit music and I like the progression during those short 14 seconds.
The beginning is very good with a nice bass. The song also loops very well.

What I am missing here is a drum track. Without it the songs sounds pretty bland.

Interesting experiment

It's an interesting experiment, but it just doesn't work out. At least for me.

Yet I can imagine hearing this in some very spacey (the Kubrick kind of spacey ;) ) movie where some strange things are happening that no one can understand.

Anyway, the repeated beeps get very annoying after a very short time. I am also not able to see any structure here (and I don't even know if you where aiming for some kind of structure... propably not).

Mezzo piano, not forte

I like the progression of this song, it starts very calm with only a few instruments playing.

More and more is added the longer the song plays, which keeps it from getting boring.

But sometimes you played the notes on the keyboard with too much power (or 'forte'). This overpowers the other melodies and also creates static sounds in my speakers.
So, you should try to play those notes with a bit less power ('mezzo piano' ;) ).

ok. Thanks for the advice. I just thought this song would be played with a force!
Thanks for the review though!

Great

This is a really great song. The beginning reminds me a lot of "Rabbit in your headlights" by U.N.C.L.E., which too is a great song.

I like the mixing of the song very much. Everything can be clearly heard, there's nothing there that outpowers any other instrument.
The whole atmosphere of the song is very sad... to the point where you suddendly kick the drums in. I was really surprised to hear this, but it fits very well into the context. It's like the intro is very sad and it has a very "lonely" atmosphere. Later on the song is still sad, but the loneliness isn't that strong anymore.
When the drums set in the amtmosphere changes almost to "angry", as if someone is fed up with all the shit happening to him and he/she just can't take it anymore.

Well, the calm part after that... I don't know how to describe that. On the one hand it may mean that the "fight" was successful, but on the other hand there's still a very sad note to it. So maybe nothing changed.
The latter interpretation is also strengthened by the fact that the song loops, so maybe everything just starts over again...
