I like this song. It's very varied and has a great tune to it.

The quality of the sound is very good, too. No instrument is overpowered, everything can be heard just fine. I also like the concept of the song. It's quite and very relaxing.

The beat is very nice, too. So, no complaints just praises from me ;) .

It creates a very good atmosphere and I think it fits really well into the story you mentioned in the author comments.

I like the somewhat "spacey" sound you create with the various effects here. However, I think the loop needs some work, as there still can be heard an echo when the loop cuts off and starts over again. This sounds a bit strange and I think it can be fixed if you add a second more to the ending and let the echo die off by itself, rather than cutting it off.

WritersBlock responds:

Yeah, I know what you mean, I might go for more static, edgy instruments in the future, but I probably will do something about the echo.

Thanks for the review.

Wow, this is a good one. Starts of pretty funky with that guitar and then changes into some terrifying and horrifying sound... I really like the seamless changeover from that "funky" riff to the "terrifying" part.

This seems perfect to be used in some kind of nightmare sequence.

Sounds good and has a certain "summer feeling" in it. I can imagine listening to this while relaxing at the beach :D .

But it needs a bit more. Maybe a nice drum track and more brass instruments in it. Then you'll definetly have a nice reaggae-"summer time"-song ;) .

This sounds nice. It has a very "industrial" feeling to it, so I can imagine hearing that in a "robocop"-type flash.

The guitars are played very good and the sound is very nice, too. I'd like to hear this with that "badass drumtrack" you mentioned in your comments.

jrayteam6 responds:

Thanks dude, check out Hating4AM's profile and look for his track "Superficial" for the seriously intense version of this.

It's a nice loop and it's perfect for the use in fighting scenes :D .

I liked the drums most in this one, they offer a very good beat.

Arrr, ye made a good pirrrate song herrre!

The song really creates a "pirate"-atmosphere, great! The riffs you used are very good and also the drums fit good into this song.
I like the many breaks you had in this song, this added a lot of diversity to the song and kept it from getting boring.

Lashmush responds:

This is the new version of an old track you can find on my "Reanimation" disk, currently up at my website. So I had a fairly good basis to work with. Though I cut out the synthsolo-ish part from this version as I didn't really think it would fit the soundpattern of this one.

This one became pretty popular both here on NG and with friends and family. Thanks alot for all the positive feedback. ;D

These sure are some heavy and kickass riffs, great!

The drums are good, too. The mixing of the instruments is done very good, all instruments just go along great with each other. Good job!

speedmetalmessiah responds:

Thanks man, this one fell into place pretty easily. It's one of the few tunes I have that actually sounds like a song, haha.
