Rock Hard Festival 2010

Posted by Haggard - May 24th, 2010

Another year went by and it was festival time again.

Over half of the "usual suspects" couldn't make it this year. One has a broken foot, the other one is in Shanghai at the moment, another friend is pregnant so she and her husband couldn't go to the festival...
in the end we where only 4 people in our camp, but it was nice anyway.

Thursday

After only 4 hours of driving (NO traffic jams at all!) we made it to the festival. Unpacking was quick this time (only 4 people, not that much stuff to carry) and we could enjoy our first beers really quickly after we arrived.

It was a bit unpleasing that you couldn't enter the campingground without the festival bracelet. We where standing there, fully packed but had to get those bracelets before. But last time there apparantly where many people on the campingground without those bracelet, so the security was a bit stricter this time.

Anyway, later that evening the first completly drunk guy found the way to our camp. He was talking a lot of nonsense and fell over a few times. I sat him into a chair so he wouldn't fall into our grill. When he fell over with the chair he only missed the grill by a few inches.

One of the guys I was camping with tried to take him back to his camp, but he couldn't get out of him where it was. So we tried to take the guy to the medical tent, but he ran away a few times, so we gave up on that...

Friday

I missed Ketzer. Damn. I really wanted to see them, but by the time I looked at my watch it already was 15:20 and they only played until 15:30...

Necros Christos: A bit slow. I bet they would sound better if they played the songs a bit faster. Also, the singer shouldn't growl while making a few announcements. You couldn't understand a thing...
Also also, they shouldn't make so long pauses in between the songs. Seriously, sometimes they just stood there for a whole minute without saying or doing anything other than drinking some beer (or whatever it was they had up on the stage).

Bloodbath: Awesome! It was only the 4th show ever this band played, because all of the members are active in other bands (like for example Mikael Ã…kerfeldt is also the singer of Opeth). But it was a great show.

Later this evening when I went back to the camp after Bloodbath I found our grill completly destroyed on the ground. The other guys told me a guy from a neighbour camp fell over the grill (it was still running!). But at least that guy now has an impression of the grate on the back of his vest. I'm sure
nobody else does have that as a backpatch, lol.

Saturdaya:
Artillery: I missed Bulldozer, but at least I went to see Artillery. Too bad the show wasn't too great.

Accept: What a great show!
There where some guys in the audience that where shouting "Udo!" before Accept entered the stage, but as soon as they played the first song with the new guy all those haters where quiet. It was just amazing.
Too bad I couldn't see them until the end, but the final game of the Champion's League was about to start, and my favorite team - Bayern Munich - was one of the teams that made it to the finals, so I went to see that game.
Even though Bayern lost 2-0 against Inter Mailand it was a good game and the mood in the tent where the game was shown was great (even though Bayern Munich isn't exactly liked in other parts of the country... ^^)

But it was a great experience anyway: I ran around in my Bayern strip on the campinground. Some people insulted me (like: "Bayern is going to lose!" or "Go away you bloody Bayern supporter!", you know. Stuff like that. I got used to it during all those years I support the club ^^). But some people came up to me saying: "I hope your team will win."
It was a nice experience to have other guys around me that support the same club that I do. :)

For some reason we where all really tired this evening, so we went to bed pretty early (around midnight, I think).

Sunday
Just like the years before we planned to drive back on Sunday. There was absolutely NO band at all that interested me. Well, no band except for Keep Of Kalessin and Rage. Too bad the latter of the two played the last show of the festival, but I didn't want to wait that long, so I decided we could leave after Keep Of Kalessin.

Keep Of Kalessin: What a great show! It was really hot and normally Black/Death Metal doesn't really work when it's too hot, but the band just played great and they had a great sound as well. For me they are one of the big winners of this festival. I'm sure they've won many new fans with their performance.

Popularized by porn stars, vaginal bleaching is nothing more than taking the dark pigmented areas in the "private" places and evening the color out between the two. With anal bleaching, the concept is the same.....make the area around the anus lighter, making it pinkish in color. The trend started a few years back and although most of the "clients" that get this done are in the adult film industry, the general public has showed a rising interest in anal and vaginal bleaching. The reason? Not only could it be more aesthetically pleasing with flawless skin, many believe that it makes you cleaner, although that is debatable.
Anal and Vaginal bleaching can be done by a licensed professional OR in the comfort of your home. If you intend to try to do it yourself, there are some things you should know....
Should you decide to buy a bleaching cream, understand that you need to review what is in the product and if it is safe for the private areas. So erogoneous zones like the nipples, anus, and genitals are more sensitive due to more nerve neourons so close to the skin and more likely to be affected by allergies.
If you do decide to try to bleach your private areas, there is one ingredient that you should definitely avoid. If a bleaching product has Hydroquinone, then look for a different bleaching cream. Hydroquinone is believed to cause some pretty serious adverse effects and may cause liver damage, thyroid problems and possibly even leukemia. Avoid creams containing this ingrediant.
A safe ingredient, however, is Meladerm. Meladerm is a pigment softening product that you can not only use to bleach your private areas, but is known also to work on age spots, freckles and hyper pigmentation. Meladerm is also made up of only natural ingredients such as B3, lemon juice, mulberry and bearberry extract, and lorcorice extract.
Vaginal and Anal bleaching creams should be used with caution as they could cause serious side effects and even long term diseases if used with impunity. Avoid hydroquinone, (which once again, is in a lot of bleaching creams) and search for bleaching creams that are mostly natural in ingredients.

Very interesting.
