I liked this flash. I think the drawing style is all right, even though you could have spend more time adding some details to the background and to the characters, but it's good as it is now.

The music is of good quality and quite easy to understand, even though subtitles may have been nice for this.

At first the scene changes seemed a bit weird, but it all makes (more or less) sense at the end.

I liked how you added some humor to this quite serious theme (for example, the girl complaining about the small blood staint on her shirt while in the background the other girl is covered in blood from tip to toe).

As you asked in the Review Request Club if this lagged on any Computer: No, it didn't lag, even though my PC is quite crappy.

Very good review! I love how each critque is supported by an example that is clearly referenced. Also, thank you for letting me know if you experienced lag--with some reference to how powerful your computer is.

Very good review--stunning accurate and valid and all points.

Good excuse why you used speakonia here ^^.
Glad you always put subtitles in your flashes, or I wouldn't have been able to understand everything on the first time through -.- .

The plot of the flash was quite amusing and the random smileys on Afro's face were funny, too. And using the "Costa Del Sol"-music for the beach scene was just great.

Also, the text at the end gave me a good laugh, but I think I will have nightmares about Iron Maiden hiring 50 cent as a lead vocalist >:( .

kinggila responds:

Random MSN smileys. .;)

Also, did you hear that Avril Lavigne is going to become the new lead singer of Blind Guardian? j/k

I just love that song.

The flash is pretty decent, but I think that the sprites are too "big". It would have been better if you hadn't zoomed in so much and instead filled the empty space with more AngryFaices ^^.

But the main presentation and visualization of the song is done very well, as you divided the two "roles" in that song very well between Edgar and Locke.
Also, the lip syncing seems to be pretty good in this flash.

kinggila responds:

The lip syncing for this flash took too long and is why I always have the lip syncs loop in the same speed. XD

Nice story :) . Finding his favourite drink for free is always a nice thing.
But seriously, 1 Pound for a Dr. Pepper bottle? That's quite expensive...

Ok, back to the flash: As I've already said, the story is quite nice. I liked the humor in this one (especially Bahamut's reaction when he finds that bottle ^^)
The voice acting is good again and I also like that you add subtitles to your flashes. This makes it easier to follow conversations (even though you are quite to understand anyway).

I didn't like how the human characters are walking as it looks very odd.

All in all, I did enjoy watching this flash!

kinggila responds:

£1 for a 500ml bottle is acceptable. Anything higher is too much.

Normally I don't like simple videos submitted here. But yours is an exception!
I really like the way and the style you draw those things. It looks very funny itself, even without that hilarious punchline!

Too bad that the sound quality is so low, but I just watched the video on your site again, where the quality is a lot better.
Also, some video controls (like a play/pause button, and such) would have been very nice.

But anyway, this is a great advertisment for your site. So, you've done a good job here, I guess :)

Hi Haggard. Thank you. I agree a pause button would be a great idea. I'll look into it. Time was a factor though, so I had to just slap it down and hope people would like it for it's content. On the whole the response has been very favourable. Which is very satifying for me, as that's what I try to do with my cartoons.

Nice flash, with a lot of references to your other flashes.
The humour was fine in this, and also the graphics and animations were decent.

The voice acting was done quite well overall, but the sound quality was below average. It cracked and rustled a bit too often for my taste.
Also, the quality even decreased when Crackman was speaking...

But the length and sheer awesomeness of this flash made up for those little flaws. Good work! :)

kinggila responds:

Luckily, sound quality on my flashes has improved since then. Crackman's voice quality was crap because he used his mobile to record the voices. :| Luckily, I took over his voice recordings after that.

Also, SEQUEL IS COMING OUT ON 23RD DECEMBER...hopefully...

The movements of the sprites (which were cut out pretty well) goes along very well with the beat of the song. Too bad you stopped working on it, because right now Mario is kinda left out there. All he can do is watching Sonic spinning around -.- .

kinggila responds:

I'm glad I submitted this flash unfinished. :D

I like this one. It's rather short, but it's very funny. So no need to make this any longer than it is now.
The graphics are decent. The backgrounds could have been a bit more detailed in my opinion. Also, you have to work on the lip syncing. The boy's mouth looked quite weird, when he was talking.
But I liked the idea that one couldn't see the mouth of that old man, because it was hid behind his beard ^^.

The voice acting is pretty good, but the sound lacks some quality. It crackles a bit here and there, so maybe you can fix that. It's somewhat strange that the sound quality is perfect at the end of the flash, where that announcer says his line ("With a name like..." and so on).

The animations could have been a bit more fluent, but it somehow fits together with the graphics.

Even though this flash is so short you have created a very funny movie here. Looking forward to see some of your longer creations :)

Skaijo responds:

Good review! I feel like you've done everything by the numbers--but you've hit all the major points on the head.

I certainly could improve the lip syncing quality done for the boy for such a short animation-there were certainly a lot of shortcuts made during the process of making this short, and this one was especially sloppy. You've certainly helped me fine pick problems in the animation that I hadn't noticed. In the future, you could better your reviews by offering specific examples on what the author can do to improve some of the errors that you've pointed out.

You were also very supportive and wrote very clearly which is great for me when I'm trying to read English at midnight. Ha! >_<

This is a very nice review. By the way, if you have the time, I'd love to know what you think of my older animation, Don't Trip. If you could add examples of how I could improve that animation, it would help me greatly as I'm currently animating the sequel.

Well, I liked - again - the humor in this one. And I'll take the chance to say "goodby" to the old Afro_Stud drawing and say "hello" to the new one.

The voice acting is again very good, and so are most of the drawings. But unfortuneatly the animations are a bit weird (like, when Graham is walking, for example). And the lip syncing could be a lot better.
Anyway, I enjoyed watching another one of your flashes!

kinggila responds:

Yep, bye bye old Afro_Stud.

Very similair to the 33rd (and 1/3) flash indeed. I like how you connected both flashes while at the same time introducing a new character.
Now I'm really looking forward to your 100th flash (only 31 to go, as of right now). I hope you throw a big party, then :P

kinggila responds:

I have tons of ideas for my 100th flash. :D
