This is a nice little flash. I really like the comical setting of this submission and I really had to laugh at that Nazi-Cow ^^.

The plot is all right. Just when it began to become slightly boring the other submarine (U-1337) appeared and the story came to an funny and unexpected end. So your timing was just perfect here :) .
I also liked the facial expressions. Even though they were minimalistic, they were excecuted very well.

I think you have to put some more work in the backgrounds/surroundings as it never really looked like the events were taking place under water. Maybe a light blue layer above everything and some sort of waves would do the trick here.
Also the movements of the submarine didn't look very smooth.

When the camera moved further away the music got too quite too fast. I think it would be better if the sound would fade out instead. It now sounds a bit jumpy.

Thanks for the review.

The sounds were jumpy.

Nice spin off of the CAI493+D series. I liked the joke with YMCA being played while Fagamut makes himself ready to turn the (already pink) Pokémon pink, heh.

Fag Reporter was a nice addition to the movie as well... and somehow I got the feeling I should write this with Faggard... ^^

Wow, great movie! The graphics in here are just awesome! It's very nice to see flash artists who take their time and care about the small little details in every frame. All of the backgrounds looked just great! :)

The voice acting was awesome, too. The voices fitted the characters AND the lip syncing was done also great. The movements looked like you used some motion capturing here, because they look so realistic ^^.

Sometimes the graphics reminded me of "Excel Saga", especially when Jack was singing and pointed his finger to the right side of the screen (left side from Jack's point of view ;) ) and you drew those fingerprints :D .
Oh, and the change of drawing style towards the end reminded me of Trigun ^^.

The story is nice and funny. "Inward singing" would sure revolutionize the music business! :D

the finger pioint was "Toppa Tengen Gurren Lagann"
the end was just "chibi"

also, for the big wave, I used a camera and filmed myself

I haven't seen a LEGO stop motion on NG yet, I think. So you definetly get some points for being original ;) .

The plot was nearly non-existent and that made it quite hard to follow the movie, because there was a lot happening in quite a short time.
But the animations seem to be very fluent and the sound effects were put to good use here.

I think you should experiment with different camera angles a bit, just to spice the whole thing up a bit. And you could also use different angles to tell some kind of short story.

Too bad the quality of the pictures is so low or else you would get a much higher score.

I really liked the little picture at the end as it seemed to fit the last scene of the movie nearly perfectly.

Thanks for the review.
You make good points. But since it's points that have been brought up before, i'll just say thanks.

Censorship day is really trucking stupid! Good thing that this trucking ship is over tomorrow and I can swear properly again!

Anyway, I think the flash is good to advertise for censorship day. Even though not much is happening here I found it quite funny to see Bahamut and Graham trying to swear but their words being replaced. But somehow I expected B*rtn being mentioned in this flash ^^.

I liked that submission.

The South Park style in the first Short was done very good. You managed to copy that style nearly perfectly. You also had some South Park style humor in there, for example when the US says: "You're helping the Janjaweed by bombing villages!" and the Sudan replies: "Nu-uh." and that green ribbon appeared on the screen. Sure SP-like humor ;) .

The "Transformers"-part was done very well, too. I've never been much into Transformers, so I can't say how good you managed to copy the typical style of that series, but it sure looked great.

The moral of those two shorts is simple but nevertheless right: People should care about what's happening in the world, even though they aren't directly affected by it.

Chakra-X responds:

Thanks a lot! I closely analyzed South Park episodes to mimic their animation, mannerisms, and even asked the voice actor ("Shard-Spider") if he could aim for a Trey Parker/Matt Stone sounding voice.

However, the ribbon was to alert that the situation was an actual fact, if you didn't know, meaning Sudan has shrugged off all of these allegations and claimed no responsibly,.

Nice ending. Graham jumping on the moon was definetly unexpected!

Now I only have to find the flash that continues this story... ^^

Somehow the volume of the voices were messed up here. Suddendly Grahams voice just got lower and I had to turn my speakers up to be able to understand him. Then when Afro_Stud aka Satan spoke, it was too loud...

Ok, to the flash: I like how suddendly all of the voices are mixed. A_S should always sound like this :D .

I also like how you changed the universe, with Grahams house suddendly a big 'G' and the characters voices all mixed. This is definetly a good twist in the story.

PS: Congrats to your 25th submitted flash! (about a year later :P )

It's always funny to watch old flashes from still active (well, more or less active :P ) flash artists. That way one often can see how much the artist has improved over the time.

You have greatly improved from here, I'd say. In this flash, everything looks quite basic. Simple graphics, no character movement at all (except for those few tweens of course) and little to no sounds except for the voice acting.

A few things haven't changed, however. The voice acting already was very good and the humor is great, too. Especially that small text at the end of the flash sums up the whole thing pretty nice :D .

kinggila responds:

It's not as funny as watching my flashes from mid 2006, though.

Rather short but very funny flash. The backgrounds need some more work (a little detail here, a little detail there... like shadows on the wall, or some furniture).

Again, the voice acting was good, especially BlueHippo's part was done very great (btw. I love the "HIGHLIGHT HIM ->" message, every time BH appears ^^).

The punchline of this flash was hilarious. Somehow exploding heads are ALWAYS hilarious... oh well ^^.

However, I think that the part where you read the ban message took a bit too long. You should have just mumbled the "you have been banned for X days and you still have Y days left" part and then just reading the message from BlueHippo aloud.

kinggila responds:

If I did cut out the ban reading part, the flash would have been even shorter and I would have got more complaints about the length.
