[Luigi the janitor]

This could have been a classic flash movie if you worked a bit harder on it.

First of all, the sprites are too small, so that it's a bit hard to tell what's going on there. Try using bigger sprites or resize the sprites to something bigger.
That way you could also work with facial expressions, thus adding more content to your flash.

Also, don't use all black text on a dark background as it is quite hard to read. I misread "you've" as "you're" at first glance. Either use some speech-bubbles with white backgrounds or use some subtitles.
The best solution would be some voice acting, but this is quite hard to do.

The gun Luigi used to shoot was ridiculously oversized. It was nearly as big as Luigi himself. You should put a bit more effort into your flashes and try to get all in corresponding sizes.

What hurts this movie the most are the "bullet holes". They are just plain red circles, which looks very bad. It also didn't look good that Mario and Yoshi were just standing there after being shot. Try manipulating the sprites a bit more, maybe with some gore effects like heads being blown off and slumping down bodies.

Last, but not least, I think the plot needs some work. Why was Luigi shooting everyone? Yoshi making some strange noises hardly can't be the reason for that. So show to us that he gets sick of being a janitor with Luigi ranting while he's doing his job or maybe he has a really bad day where everything goes wrong and then he just can't take it anymore.

Everyone said there was no plot...but believe me, a janitor is a very low paying and stressful job, so therefore they have bad tempers.

Nice job on submitting the first flash in 2008.
I already knew most of the top 10 flash-moments, but a few of them I haven't seen yet. So, hopefully this year I can review the rest of your flashes (and also getting a lot of responses from you :P ) and witness the top 10 flash-moments I haven't already seen yet ^^.

It was a funny short flash with quite an original concept.

Using text instead of drawn characters is a good idea, imho, but it would be better if you had some voice acting in there as it is quite hard to read the characters names and what they are saying at the same time. I nearly missed that it was Han Solo in that Falcon there.

The rest of the graphics aren't that good as it is very hard to tell what exactly it is that you wanted to draw, but it fits in the concept quite well. But I think it would still be better if you'd try to create some better graphics.

Concidering the length and the graphical content of the flash the file size seems quite big. I don't know if it is the song you used at the end or the program you used to create this flash is to be blamed for the file size...

Nice graphics here, even though it was "only" sprites in here.
I liked the mouth movements of the sprites, they looked really good. I also liked the music you had in there, but Trivium sucks really bad (I can tell that from the short piece you had in here, as I've never heard anything else made by them ^^).

So, it was a funny short flash. Hopefully the next episodes are as funny as this one ^^

I think you pulled off that joke in a good way and the flash was done very well, too. But Afro_Stud singing "Barbie Girl" is a thing I wish to never see and hear again... :P

Of course. Obviously on April Fools, everything that's said is bullshit. If you want to do an April Fools joke, do something beforehand, but that could eventually be overdone and then that won't work. XP

Very random and very short. It's always a thin line between pure genius and utter crap. Yours is more on the "genius"-side as I really liked the character sounds and the music.

The graphics are good, but a little improvement could be done here as it looked quite choppy sometimes.
The animations are very smooth but I think a higher framerate would have been a bit better for this movie.

The plot itself is very strange and as I've already said: Either on loves it or one hates it. I think I love it ^^. It's very original and funny.

Good Halloween-submission. I liked the plot, and how the trick was played on Bahamut (no offence :P ).
The costumes were a good idea, too. Oh, and the music really was awesome! \m/

After watching this flash, I am really glad that Halloween doesn't play a big role where I live, and I am even more glad if kids would really play those kind of tricks in real life ^^.

Wow, that was really good.
I liked how you used the Pokémon looks for that one and the intro was very nice. You should use that more often in your flashes! :D

I also liked the plot going on in the background and that one could hear Graham mumbling in the background without distracting the viewer from the main plot.

The voices were again done very good and I think this might turn into an interesting series. Hope to see more from that in 2008 ;) .

Heh, nice random flash here. Some of the sentences were pretty funny, and best of all: I recognized most of the flashes you used for this "best of" :D .

But the "screamer"-part was a bit too long for my liking.
