Nice work

This is a really good flash. The narration was nice and the storyline was pretty funny.

Sometimes the music was a tad bit too loud so it was hard to understand the narrator, though. Subtitles may help here, maybe with an option to turn them on and off, so that people who don't like subtitles can easily get rid of them.

The drawings looked pretty good and the animations were decent. My favorite one was when Zimmi whiped off the sweat from his forehead.

However, that "filter" in front of the whole movie was a bit annoying. It fits at the beginning when they wander through the forest, but later in the cave it just seems misplaced.
So maybe only add the filter in some scenes (woods) and get rid of it or change it to some other filter in other scenes (caves).

Hmhmhm, yeah, I think I'll remove the filter in some places in the next animation. Thank you!

Statics are annoying

Very fast paced but funny nevertheless. I like the ideas you came up with in the animations, especially the "job" one was nice.

The drawings are a bit sloppy but they fit with the fast pace of the movie. It's like "the movie is fast so I don't have much time to draw things!".

I liked how the flash ended after 4 reasons with that nice punchline. The character is dead, so he can't continue anymore.

However, the sound quality was a bit too low. Sometimes there are noticeable static sound, which are really annoying. Try turning down the recording level of the mic a bit next time.

Thanks, the audio was recorded a long time ago, :D

I love choclate!

Pretty random flash at times but with some really funny scenes (I especially liked the "choclate"-scene because I actually understood what was written on the wall. :D ).

The music was good and you managed to keep the flash synced with it, so that music and flash went together pretty nicely.

The only things I didn't like was the pictures of the dogs moving around (this looked really really bad) and the abrupt ending. Maybe a little fade out of the music would look and sound better here.

Not too sure what to think about that

First of all, I liked the graphics. Some reviewers seemed to have critisized you for your drawings, but I don't think there's anything wrong with them.

But what I didn't like where those "bars" you used to indicate the "speed" or the "wind" while that chip flew through the air. They didn't seem to fit in there and at first I thought there was something wrong with my monitor.

Also the sound effects wheren't that good either, it got very annoying after a short while. A different sound that would also decrease in volume the slower the moving object gets would fit better here, I think.

Last but not least, I really don't know what this "arm & Hammer"-thing is supposed to be, so maybe I'm missing some very important part here...

Overall, the flash has it's downsides, but you mentioned you did this all in just one day. I have to say I'm impressed with what you can come up after only a days work.

Cute :)

This is a very cute flash (I just like moles, heh), the graphics and the animations look very good and the lyrics are funny.

The bad thing about this flash is that it's hard to read the lyrics and watch what is going on on the screen at the same time. So someone who reads or sing along to the music would be a good thing to have.

It all started when I drew some things about shrubs, clubs, cub, and the such in my rough book... a couple months later I did something similar with moles, souls, etc. Then decided it'd make a good animation =D
And the voice actor is something everyone sees as lacking in the animation... no worries, I'll get one if/when I do another submission akin to this one =D
Thanks for the review! (and yeah... it was difficult to get the mole so he looked... meagerly cute ._.)

Very good

This turned out very good. At first I was a bit sceptic when I heard those static noises in the very first scene, but this was only a one time incident. After that I could enjoy your excellent voice acting. Sometimes it's even hard to believe you did all the noises all alone, but if I listened close enough I was able to make out "your" voice.

The animations and drawings in the collab range from good to very good (I especially liked the batman parts). I also think that the length of the different parts was about just right. Not too long and not too short either.

Nice theme

A pretty nice theme for a collab. Superheros failing at what they are doing are my favorite animations in here. :)

Some of the animations have been pretty short and fast paced. It would be better if those where strechted out a bit. Gives the authors more time to "show off" their skills and gives the viewer more time to realize what's going on in the scene.

That little part in between different scenes was a nice idea. I loved the batman series as a kid (even though I found it ridiculous even back then ^^).

Overall the collab is pretty well done with animations that are all of nearly the same (good) quality. Nothing that sticks out as particularly better or worse than the rest of the animations.

Very good

This is a very good flash. It is quite big with nearly 15 MB but one can see WHY it is so big. Excellent drawings, good choice of music and excellent voice acting.

The animations look a bit weird sometimes (especially when that guy with the blue hair and the headphones was rowing in the boat), but overall they are pretty good.

I found that the music in the last scene, where all where talking on the street was a tad bit too loud. It was hard sometimes to make out what the characters where saying.

But overall these are only minor flaws and the submission is a very good one.

Okay for a tribute

I guess it's okay for a tribute I think. Seeing as this was submitted one day after Billy Mays death you had to come up with this pretty quickly.

You put some nice pictures in here and the music was nice, too. But the problem with tributes is that they are all pretty low in quality. They are sure a tribute and meant for the best, but I think it would be better to if flash artists would spent a bit more time to come up with something better than just a slideshow.

Good movie

This is a pretty good movie with an interesting idea for a story line.

I liked the colors you chose for this flash. Some artist tend to use the whole palette of colors aviable, without any shadings. You on the other hand made good use of shadings here. A red tone and a slightly darker red tone for the sky, the clouds, the sand. Everything looks pretty good here.

The thing that impressed me most was the shadow of the jet. It looked quite realistic how it moved over the hills.

Also, the music was nice and underlined the different feelings of the flash. At first a depressing world with a sad song, then a cheerful world and "Summer Breeze" playing (wow, didn't even know Type O Negative's version is a cover!).
It's also a good thing that your submission is only about 700KB big even though you had two songs in it. Some artists seem to just put the whole song in a flash even though they only use a small extract from it, which pumps their submissions up to 5 MB and more.

However, the animations are a bit rough and there was sometimes a white line on the right side.
Also, the credits went by a bit fast, hardly enough time to read them.

urban-wolf100 responds:

Thanks Haggard.
i used audacity to cut down the audio, so it only had the bit i needed instead of the whole song.
i will try and do a bit more work on it in the near future, but at the moment im working on a large scale project that wont be done until maybe late next year
