Nice

Doesn't look as interesting as your other signature pics, but it still looks good. Again the colours are pretty nice and I also like the effects you used here. It looks a bit like an equalizer on winamp (or a similar program), heh.

The swung line breaks the "equalizer look" up a bit, but that's a good thing as it adds a special note to the picture. Without that line the picture would look very bland.

Yes, and I totally agree; but as I said in the comment it was suppose to be someting else but...........I missed up big time and deleted the main illustration out of this picture and kept the background. So that's why I added the line thing in the middle to add something to the background

Thanks for the review!

Good picture

The colours here are very nice. The very bright white and the light blue create a very cold atmosphere. The small white dots on the picture add to this cold atmosphere, as they could resemble frost or snow.

I especially like the small white lines here, they seem to be so random but yet they look very good. I like this picture.

Thanks o so very much!

Glad you liked it, and finally glad someone isn't nagging me about the sig!

So Kudos to you sir!

Surreal

A very surreal picture. But I quite like it. The colours go along pretty well with each other, and I imagined a beach (front of the pic), water (middle of the pic) and a cliff and the sky (top of the pic) when I looked at this in full size.

However, I'm not too happy with the lines on the pic, it looks too sketchy this way.

Thank you for the review. It was actually a bit my intention to make it look sketchy, but I know what you mean.

Interesting

This picture reminds me a bit of Queen's cover for "The Miracle", lol.

Anyway, it's a nice drawing style. At first the notepad lines where a bit annoying, but then I read you did this for the notepad collab. So yeah, I guess there's not much you can do about those lines, heh.

I especially like the Top Hat on the right hand head, it adds a special note to the pic.

thies responds:

Haha, I see what you mean with the faces and that cover.
Yeah I made this for the Collab, so I had to use the paper background, I actually quite like it.

Glad you liked the hat :)
Thanks for reviewing.

Good

I like the effect you use here. It spreads out from the bottom left corner over the whole picture, which looks pretty cool. You also croped the image in a good way, so we aren't left with a big canvas where nothing really happens.

I don't like the blue lines in here too much, but reading your response to Joshsouza's review I learned that you had to put them in there... pity, they are misplaced in the picture I think. It kinda disturbs the nice effect created by the white and red lines.

Flash-Gamers responds:

Yeah I was trying to figure out a way to cover the entire area instead of just a portion of it. Yeah, I should've just tried to erase the blue lines even if it wouldn't work.

I'll remember to keep my colors consistent.

Thanks for the review, much appreciated!

Very nice

This is going straight into my favorites, I really like this picture. Almost everything about this is perfect. The character looks very good and his clothes - even though mostly black - look very realistic.

Also the background is nice to look at. The whirling "thing" in the background looks just great with the colours you choose and the floor also looks good. I also like the perspective the foor has, it really seems as if it reaches into the room.

The only thing I didn't like was the hand of character, it doesn't seem as if it was holding the book, but rather that the book was "added" to the picture after it was completed.

Looks good

I like the shading on the clothes, they look very good and add a lot of depth to the picture.

I also like how you managed to give him a facial expression even though he wears a helmet. But the way you put some shadings there and the "eyes" look, it really seems as if the knight has an evil look on his face.

The blood on the sword could look a bit more detailed, but overall this is a very good picture.

Dreaming sequence

I like the white surroundings here a lot better than on the "Waking Dream" picture. Maybe because the scene in the center doesn't remind me of a nightmare.

It now creates the effect as if I would look through a window into my own dreamworld. Everything still is blurred, but when I open the window (=fall asleep) a very pleasent dream world awaits me.

Full size for full effect

A bit surrealistic in my opinion. The lines on the red background leave some room for interpretations, you could virtually see everything in there... and that's something I like about this picture.

I also like how the eye of the bird on the left side seems to show the background that is also surrounding the red background. Creates a very interesting effect.

I'm not too fond of the surroundings, though. They look a bit too bland compared to the center of the painting. They don't create the same nightmarish feeling the lines in the red center do.

Thanks for the review!

Part of the issue is that the program I am using has an endless canvas, and I didn't realize it would expand that much until I uploaded the picture. That's why full view comes in handy :) So basically, the white wasn't a part of the original painting. But I see exactly what you're saying :)

Interesting

A very interesting picture. Most of the time we can see dragons in heroic poses or fighting other dragons or dragon slayers. But a dragon in a snowy landscape is something new... at least for me.

I like the funny details you put in here. For example the woollen hat the dragon wears or the tiny snowman right next to him.

At first I thought the dragon was struggling to stay alive until I noticed he's just drinking some water. There's something about his pose that makes me think he's lying flat.
Maybe if his neck was bend a bit more downwards the impression of the dragon drinking would be a bit stronger.
