Like Bezman already said, this game consists of nothing else but "trial and error". There was no way to indicate which "Play"-button is the correct one. Well no way except for clicking all the buttons that were on the screen.

I don't think that this concept is very entertaining nor very original. If you would draw the correct play button slightly different from all the wrong ones, so that the player could actually SEE the right button it would be much more fun to play the game.
Of course you would have to think of ways to hide the correct button among all the wrong ones, but I think the effort would be worth it.

90% Of everything we learn comes from trial and error.

Aww... I failed to entertain someone... :'(

Ill keep that in mind.

Effort is not one of my strong points thoe, but ill try anything once.

Thanks for playing thoe. :P

It's a very nice game with simple but very effective graphics and very good sound effects.

The controls are simple and good and very easy to understand. At first I thought this would be another "Yeti Sports" rip off, but it seems I was wrong ^^. I even think that this is better than Yeti Sports, because of the ability to let the cat "fly" (via pressing "up" on the keyboard) etc. .
Also the "power ups" are placed nicely on the ground and with a bit practice it's quite easy to even hit those ^^.

However I think it would be nice if you zoomed the view out when the cat is flying high in the air. Maybe you could even add a few power ups there.

All excellent ideas! Thank you Haggard. I've mentally checked this game off as complete. I like your thoughts though and may include those in my next game. Thanks for taking the time to look at the game and write a detailed review.

It's nice for a dress up game. I'm normally not too fond of those type of game, but yours was a bit different.

First of all I liked the graphics. Most dress ups seem to have very sloppy graphics. I liked the comical style of your drawings.
Also that the dress up doll was standing there in a pose was something different.

The wings were a nice addition. Never so animated clothes in a dress up ^^.

The backgrounds were nicely drawn, too. But there weren't a lot of them, so you may want to add some more backgrounds.

The musical selection was very nice, but it's always nice if one can choose from different tracks and even more important is the option to turn the music off.
Both options were lacking here.

Also the lack of facial expressions is a bit dissappointing.

On the technical side this is ok. The buttons are big enough (and they are actually buttons, not just clickable text) and the text is easy to read. You may want to change the background, though. It's quite irritating to stare at that spinning background the whole time.

Also an option to turn the music off would be very nice ;) .

On the practical side I don't think that this tutorial is really necessary. You could have at least explained when someone gets a save and a blam point (voting 0-1 and it's blammed -> blam point, and so on).
Else I would say: Vote what YOU think this flash deserves! Don't vote just because you want to rack up points.

I should add a music control switch. Thanks.

It's a nice game, but I missed some depth. I mean, it's really nice that I can walk around the house, playing pool or wasting my money on the slot machine (and I can't do that on Guitar Hero, AFAIK), but what gives?

If you put in some "game world" it should have some depth. It would be really nice if I could buy some sweet furniture for my house, or throw some partys and depending on my "rock status" the party is a big sucsess or just a waste of time.

The gameplay is nice and very challenging. Sometimes it seemed that the game wouldn't respond to my input, but maybe I just hit the arrow keys too late, heh.

But I think you need some variation in the levels. Basically it was just two levels, one where I had to hit the keys right in time and one where I had to block the keys. A few more "levels" really would help the game.

The idea of the game is really nice, but the presentation is lacking some quality.

First of all you have to work on your graphics. Try to draw clean lines. Zooming in will give you a better control of what you are doing. And don't be afraid to draw a line more than once if you aren't happy with the result.
Also experiment with the colors a bit more before you decide which color you want to use for which object. Sometimes the colors of a level really hurt the eyes in this game.

Another negative point are the buttons. Right now only the text is clickable, not the space between the letters. This makes it quite hard to actually click a button sometimes. There are a few very good button tutorials here on NG, which can help you with this task.

The last negative point I have for you is the spelling and the grammar. If you aren't sure how a word is written use a spellchecker for example the one included in "Microsoft Word", or even google can help you out sometimes (the worst spelling error you made was with the word "nuclear". You spelled it "nuecluer" and one sentence later you spelled it "nucuelar". If you had used a spellchecker you could easily have avoided this).

However, as I've already written, I liked the main idea of this game. The story seems to be quite interesting and the controls are very easy and very accurate. Also the musical selection is very nice.

It's a great game with a very high replay value. Right now I'm playing as an Assasin, but I sure want to check out the other classes, too.

I like that I am able to skip the cutscenes. This makes playing much more enjoyable on later playthroughs as there is no need to listen to the same story again (at least not as long as I perfectly remember it ;) ).

I also like that you provide an option to play the game in german. I really appreciate that as german is my native language.
However, I noticed some small typos during the game while playing with german texts. Nothing big, but maybe they can be fixed later.

Hey,

I'm glad to see people who like the German option :D We made some mistakes because we jammed the workload into about 12 hours time space.

Thanks for playing and reviewing! :D

This is a great puzzle game with a very good story to it.

I really like how each level has it's own "chapter" on my travel around the world in 80 days.

The background graphics are very nice and add a lot atmosphere to the game. The single levels are all very diversified and the level of difficulty rises with each new level. Great work!

Whohoo, the amazing "Speedball" in a much simpler version. I like that!

The controls are very simple, even though I think an extra button for switching players or tackle wouldn't hurt. You still would have amazingly simple controls, just with one or two extra buttons ;) .

The sound and the music you used where okay, but I think some more "crowd noise" would be great (just think of the famous "ice cream!"-shouts in Speedball 2 ;) ).

Maybe some upgrades to the players would be good, too. "Stronger tackle" or "faster running" or something like that. One could pay for those with the money one would earn from winning games.

It's a nice and well written tutorial. Easy to read, easy to understand. Just the way a tutorial should be ;) .

However, I was missing a "back ot the titlescreen" button. It can be very annoying if I start from step 4 for example and want to read step 7 after that. Then I have to click all the way to step 7 instead of just "back to menu" and then on "Step 7" in the menu. Maybe you can fix that.

Otherwise the tutorial was very good!
